The 18 Celebs Microdosing Spring at Milan Fashion Week

If you’re into fashion, then you know that February is an Autumn/Winter month. Designers spent all fall and winter of 2024 preparing to put on a runway show during February to showcase the collections they’ll be selling during fall and winter 2025. But despite that, our modern icons are in Milan this week, and by the looks of it, they are getting a taste of spring a little earlier than the rest of us.

It’s very exciting actually. There are a lot of mini dresses, midriffs, micro shorts, and mini skirts, plus light jackets, blazers, and other relaxed outerwear. I miss looking at the weather and looking through the “light jacket” category of my wardrobe, but fear not, the return of spring is upon us, and the street style in Milan is proof of that. It’s quite funny though because just a month ago, fashion week attendees were dressed in the sheerest clothes ever that you’d never know it was snowy and wintery in Paris. But this fashion week, despite the fact that the weather is warmer and nudity has been huge in fashion lately, Milan’s street style is actually quite tame. Not in terms of boundary pushing, of course, but in terms of skin. These trend pendulums always swing like that. Fashion moves as quickly as it does slowly, and that’s half the fun. Part of figuring the game out is knowing you never quite do.

Of course runway legend Naomi Campbell walked the DSquared2 show, which just the same celebrated the faces of models whose stars are still rising. Grammy-winning rapper Doechii also walked the show, as did model and stylist Dara Allen. The scene in Milan right now is a gorgeous mix of legacy celebs like Jessica Chastain, Julia Garner, aSharon Stone, and Dev Patel mixed with the stars of youth culture, Hoshi, Amelia Gray, Gabbriette, and Charli D’Amelio.
