I love trying new things with my hair — whether they’re braids, buns or a new type of curl. Before a party or big event, I spend hours in front of the mirror trying to perfect an updo or get a wave just right. And 9 times out of 10 I have a photo of Jessica Alba by my side as inspiration. Not only doe she have the perfect head of thick and shiny hair, but her styles are always the highlight at award shows and fashion week front row. Never going too trendy, her ombré locks are usually styled in intricate braids, soft waves and chignons that the everyday girl could wear (with an on-hand hairstylist, of course).
