The devil works hard, but the water bottle PR machine works harder. How did we all collectively decide to switch over from HydroFlask to Stanley? How do we justify buying a new water bottle colorway every season? (The Important Questions that keep me up at night.) Over the last decade, water bottles went from a simple necessity to a status symbol—but it’s just not a trend I feel like hating on. In fact, I’ll invest in a few bottles if I know they’ll incentivize me to drink more H2O, and I’ll also gift friends new tumblers because I know that’s a gift that’ll end up getting used.
The latest buzzy water bottle brand has actually been around since 2013: Frank Green started off with reusable coffee cups, but eventually expanded to water bottles when all things reusable caught on. Now, Frank Green is quietly (well, quietly to the US) creating some of the cutest water bottles on the Australian market, and I’m betting it’ll take on legacy brands like Stanley and Owala.
