Aaron Taylor-Johnson talked about the age difference in a new interview. “What you gotta realize is that what most people were doing in their 20s, I was doing when I was 13,” Taylor-Johnson told Rolling Stone UK in a recent interview. “You’re doing something too quickly for someone else? I don’t understand that. What speed are you supposed to enjoy life at? It’s bizarre to me.”

He previously talked about the marriage age gap in an interview with Vulture. “The attention was intrusive,” he said. “But having to deal with that early in my career probably got me to a place where I can more quickly just go, ‘Oh, f— it’ instead of wanting to rip someone’s head off for asking questions I don’t like.”

There was no way on earth I was bringing that back into my house.”

“The great thing about Aaron is that he’s happy not working and being at home with the kids while I work,” Sam told The Guardian during a 2015 interview. “He’s like, ‘No no, I like being an at-home dad, doing the cooking and the school runs.’ ”

She continued, “What happens next depends on what comes up, on whether Aaron decides to do another blockbuster or an independent movie.”
