Andrew Schulz’s Ex Accused Him of Being ‘Manipulative’ After Exposing His Abusive Tactics—Look at His Dating History

It’s not known exactly when they started dating, as the two only announced their relationship when they announced their engagement, in October 2020. Schulz shared the story on his podcast, Flagrant 2, of how he proposed with an oval solitaire ring at Emma’s favorite restaurant.

As Schulz tells it, she made a reference to how “juvenile” it felt to call Schulz her “boyfriend” to others, to which he said “Yeah, we should change that, and I just got down on one knee and I bust it open,” he recalled. On Instagram, he added that he was so nervous he fumbled the question, asking “Will you spend the LEST of your RIFE with me?”

Clearly, it all worked out, because the two went on to marry in December 2021 and welcomed a daughter, Shiloh Jean Schulz, in February 2024. It’s precisely his experience with fatherhood that inspired Schulz’s latest comedy special.

In the special, he joked about the stress that comes with “knowing that no matter what happens to your daughter, it’s Dad’s fault.”

Jamie Lee (2015)

Schulz reportedly dated comedian Jamie Lee for a few months in 2015, but very little is known about their relationship.

Sara Phillips (2014-2015)

Schulz dated singer Phillips sometime between 2014 and 2015. In 2020, Phillips took to social media to accuse Schulz of abuse. “For years, I was manipulated, controlled, and abused by him. The verbal abuse was constant. I was isolated from my friends,” she said. “If I wore makeup that he thought was too much, he’d wipe it off my face in public.”

Phillips also said at the time of the allegations, which she made at the time of his first Netflix special. “For me, even opening Netflix on my TV, in my own home, has been completely triggering. To have to see the face of someone who abused me for years… is something I wouldn’t wish on my own enemy.”
