The Emmys were days ago, but we’re still thinking about Ayo Edebiri’s look. The Bear actress—who was nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2024 ceremony, which took place on September 15 in Los Angeles—was a vibrant sight in a red, black, and orange Bottega Veneta dress. The bespoke number featured a strapless neckline, a thigh-high slit, and sequins throughout. “It was perfect as soon as I saw the sketches,” Edebiri told Laverne Cox during E!’s pre-show on Sunday. She paired the floor-length number with glossy black Gianvito Rossi sandal heels, which complemented her moody dark manicure and shiny, brushed-out waves.
Edebiri’s bouncy mane was brought to life by celebrity hairstylist Miles Jeffries who used all Maui Moisture hair care products and Covet & Mane hair extensions in the shade London. He told StyleCaster “Solange [Knowles] may have been on the mood board” for the look. (It does remind us of the singer’s A Seat at the Table album cover.)
When it came to makeup, the eyes were “the focus,” glam pro Ernesto Casillas said in a statement. “Ayo’s custom Bottega gown had a beautiful shine to it that I wanted to replicate on the skin and lips.” To achieve this, Casillas used all Charlotte Tilbury products.

Jeffries prepped Edebiri’s hair with the Maui Moisture Scalp Clarifying Shampoo, which is packed with apple cider vinegar and aloe vera—making it a soothing product that tackles build up on the scalp.
Jeffries told StyleCaster that he “set” Edebiri’s hair with the Maui Moisture Frizz-Free Shea Butter Leave-in Conditioner “and defused until the hair was 100 percent dry.” This product is perfect for chemically treated or heat-trained hair as it acts as a protective barrier.
For extra hydration, Jeffries went in with the Maui Moisture Weightless Oil, which is a lightweight mist that blends coconut milk, guava extract, and mango butter to replenish strands throughout the day.

Good makeup starts with good skin, so Casillas hydrated Edebiri’s face with the Magic Hydrator Mist, which features hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.

He created a radiant, natural-looking finish with the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer in 13.
Casillas used the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in the shade Tan to minimize shine and further blur pores.
This product does it all. Casillas used Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow in the shade Colour of Passion, which provides a deep berry-inspired flush with a vibrant finish.
Like most Charlotte Tilbury products, the Light Wand is a buildable multi-use product that acts as a highlighter or blush. Casillas used the shade Pillow Talk Medium.
“I was inspired to take the black in the print and translate it on to the eyes with a small, flicked eyeliner,” Casillas told StyleCaster.
He set everything in place with Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, which locks in makeup for up to 16 hours.
