After two years off the air, Bachelor in Paradise is officially back, and this season is more dramatic than ever, at least according to the Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 spoilers about what happened, who gets engaged, and which couples are still together.
Bachelor in Paradise first premiered in 2014 as a spinoff of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, where alums from the main shows could meet and date each other. Like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise also has rose ceremonies, where the men and women switch off in giving roses to the opposite sex. The contestants who don’t receive a rose are eliminated, much like the main show, and the couples who make it to the end are faced with a choice to either get engaged or break up.

Bachelor in Paradise ran every year until 2024 when news broke that ABC had temporarily cancelled the series in favor of The Golden Bachelorette. A year later, ABC took the series off hiatus and announced its return for Season 10 with some key changes. One was the inclusion of contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. Another was a new filming location in Costa Rica instead of Mexico, where Bachelor in Paradise filmed its first nine seasons. The third major change was the addition of Season 15 Bachelorette Hannah Brown, who joined the series for Season 10 as Bachelor in Paradise’s first-ever Head of Paradise Relations.
“The difference between me and Wells just comes down to our similar but different experiences. I have a female perspective that I feel was missing from the show, and I’m able to speak to the women who are there, because I’ve walked in their shoes. I have so much advice on what to do and what not to do from my experience,” Hannah told StyleCaster about the difference between her role and bartender Wells Adams.
As for which contestants fans should watch out for, Hannah named Dale Moss, the winner and ex-fiance of Season 16 Bachelorette Clare Crawley, and Kat Izzo—a contestant from The Bachelor Season 26 who got engaged to John Henry Spurlock on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9—as two names to keep an eye on.
“People are very intrigued Dale Moss is on the season. I was honestly shocked myself to see him,” Hannah said. “I’m excited for people to see more of his personality and for him to have the opportunity to find love. Kat [Izzo] is back after getting engaged last season. I’m proud of her for putting herself back out there after it not going the way she intended it to. I didn’t know anyone going into it. Nobody was from my seasons, so it was fun for me to get to know these people for the first time.”

Filming started for Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 on May 3, 2025, according to Reality Steve. Filming ended around late May 2025, according to TikToker Zachary Reality, who noted that that was around the time the contestants had returned to social media. That means that Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 filmed for around three to four weeks, which is on par with the filming lengths of previous Bachelor in Paradise seasons.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 was filmed at the Azura Beach Resort in Costa Rica, instead of the show’s usual filming location at the Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita, Mexico. “The hotel is more upscale and has a sexy chicness to it that feels more elevated than the traditional kind of Paradise world that we’ve been in,” showrunner Scott Teti told Entertainment Weekly in May 2025.
He continued, “The beach itself is private and unique. There’s a beautiful island right off it with a bunch of fishing boats that surround it every day, with a quaint little town right next door, but not a ton of foot traffic. It feels remote and upscale and sexy at the same time.”

There was a love triangle between Brian Autz, Zoe McGrady, and Parisa Shifteh at the second Rose Ceremony, where the men gave roses to the women, according to Reality Steve. Brian gave his rose to Parisa over Zoe, which led to Zoe’s elimination.
Justin Glaze, Susie Evans, and Lexi Young all self-eliminated at the second Rose Ceremony, according to Reality Steve. Jeremy Simon asked Susie Evans to come back to Bachelor in Paradise after she self-eliminated at the second Rose Ceremony, according to Reality Steve. The move came after Bailey Brown, who exchanged roses with Jeremy for the first two Rose Ceremonies, accepted a date card from Andrew Spencer, who arrived on the beach after the second Rose Ceremony. Bailey’s decision upset Jeremy, who contacted Susie to ask her to come back to Bachelor in Paradise. Susie said no, however, Jeremy’s actions led to major drama between him and Bailey.
The contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette arrived on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 after the second Rose Ceremony and stayed in the same resort as the rest of the cast, according to Reality Steve. They also were a part of the same Rose Ceremonies.
The first romantic crossover between the Golden and the younger contestants happened before the third Rose Ceremony when Sean McLaughlin and April Kirkwood made out, according to Reality Steve. However, the moment didn’t lead to anything romantic between them.
April Kirkwood gave a rose to Jonathon Johnson at the third Rose Ceremony so he could stay on Bachelor in Paradise after Alexe Godin, whom he exchanged roses with for the first two Rose Ceremonies, gave her rose to Andrew Spencer, according to Reality STeve.
After she arrived on Bachelor in Paradise following the third Rose Ceremony, Faith Martin gave her date card to Kathy Swarts instead of a man, and the two went on a friendship date.
The format for Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 changed after the fourth Rose Ceremony for the first time since the show’s premiere in 2014, according to Reality Steve. The blogger reported that, after the fourth Rose Ceremony, no new men or women came on Bachelor in Paradise, and the remaining contestants were asked each week to vote out who they wanted to leave Bachelor in Paradise next at each Rose Ceremony. Reality Steve couldn’t confirm whether the contestants voted as individuals or as couples.
“Because what I do know is that what they’ve done in the past, where Chris/Jesse would come in and tell couples basically, ‘Ok, decide if you want to stay together or break up’ is gone now… I just know that it wasn’t about couples getting engaged as much as in seasons past, and a couple could still be a couple and leave the show because of some sort of vote off,” Reality Steve wrote.
He continued, “Was told there was definitely some major drama once this portion of the show started.”
The final couple on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 won a monetary prize of up to $500,000, according to Reality Steve. “I think it is safe to say that the winning twosome this year does get paid. Now the question is how much do they make? What I’ve gathered is, it’s more than Love Island, which I believe is 100-150 [thousand]. So there is going to be a winning team of Bachelor Paradise this summer, and they will get paid what that number is,” he wrote.
While Reality Steve couldn’t confirm which couple won the $500,000, he revealed that the two final couples were: Alexe Godin and Andrew Spencer, and Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley. (Jess and Spencer were also the only couple on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 to get engagd.)
Parisa Shifteh has a new boyfriend after her breakup with Brian Autz, according to Reality Steve. Parisa and Brian were eliminated at the seventh Rose Ceremony on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. They left the show together after filming ended in May 2025, but split before Season 10 premiered on July 7, 2025. “I would expect fireworks between her and Brian at the reunion,” Reality Steve wrote.
During the Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 finale, Sean McLaughlin accuses Kat Izzo of having a boyfriend before going on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, according to Reality Steve. “In the finale, Sean confronts Kat and accuses her of coming on the show with a boyfriend, using the show for clout, and alleging that she contacted him somehow during filming,” Reality Steve wrote. “I’ve heard it does get pretty messy in the finale when this stuff is brought to the forefront.”

Sean’s accusation, as well as his drama with Spencer Conley and Jess Edwards when he tried to get the cast to turn on them and vote them out, is why Andrew Spencer called him the “Greatest Bachelor in Paradise villain of all time” in a podcast interview.
For the first time since Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, there will be an “After the Final Rose” reunion special for Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, according to Reality Steve.
The reunion is set to film on September 3, 2025, after Season 10 finishes airing and will air on a streaming service instead of ABC. He also confirmed that not all Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 cast members will be at the reunion, and that only the contestants who were a part of the format change after the fourth Rose Ceremony will attend, which includes three Golden couples and seven couples from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
“So maybe that means we’ll get a more raw version of the cast. Maybe cursing will be allowed? Not sure, but it’s definitely gonna be different than any previous reunions this show has had,” Reality Steve wrote.

He also confirmed that none of the Golden couples from Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 are still together.
Spencer Conley and Jess Edwards are the only couple who got engaged in the Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 finale, according to Reality Steve. There was only one engagement on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 after the format change following the fourth Rose Ceremony that de-prioritized engagements compared to previous seasons.

Sam and Alli Jo were never on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 at the same time. Sam joined the cast in Week 1 and was eliminated that same week, while Alli Jo entered in Week 2 and was also sent home that same week.
