Which Below Deck Down Under Couples Are Still Together? You’ll Be Surprised by the Result

Margot and Harry (Season 2)

Status: Not still together

Margot Sisson, a third stewardess, and Harry Van Vliet, a deckhand, met and dated on Northern Sun on Below Deck Down Under Season 2. They broke up toward the end of the season after Margot friendzoned Harry and confessed that she didn’t have romantic feelings toward him. In an interview with The Daily Dish in 2025, Harry admitted that he and Margot are still on good terms, but they don’t keep in close contact.

“I don’t talk to her that much,” he said. “I’d definitely ring her and she’d answer, you know. Definitely.”

During an episode on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Harry also confirmed that he and Margot stayed in contact after filming Season 2 and he even met her family. “I have been in contact with Margot,” he said. “I actually went and saw her in Wisconsin after Season 2. I spent two weeks in Wisconsin, the family state, apparently. And, yeah, we’re great friends.”

He also confirmed that he would never rekindle their relationship. “No, I would never see a relationship with Margot now, we’re too good of friends,” he said. “She’s lovely.”

Carver and Jaimee (Season 2)

Status: Not still together

Carver Bradbury, a deckhand, and Jaimee Neale, a second stewardess, met and dated on Northern Sun on Below Deck Down Under Season 2. The two faced a cheating scandal later in the season when Jamiee—who agreed to being Carver’s girlfriend—kissed new lead deckhand Luka Brunton.Carver and Jaimee, who confessed the infidelity to Carver, reconciled and left the boat as a couple. 

However, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live in 2023, chief stewardess Aesha Scott revealed Carver and Jaimee broke up after they took a month-long road trip in Australia after leaving Below Deck Down Under and realized they weren’t a match.

Joao and Tzarina (Season 2)

Status: Not still together

Joao Franco, a bosun, and Tzarina Mace-Ralph, a chef, met and dated on Northern Sun on  Below Deck Down Under Season 2. The two knew each other for several years, as Joao dated one of Tzarina’s friends, while Tzarina also had a fling with one of Joao’s pals. Though Tzarina pushed away her feelings for Joao at first—not wanting to upset her friend who also dated him—the two eventually kissed. 

Joao and Tzarina have since broken up. Following his romance with Tzarina, Joao went on to date yachtie Domi Tiesi. The two celebrated their one-year anniversary on June 12, 2023. “One year …  I fell for you so quick and so strong, there was no turning back even after the first week and I feel the same way now. I never thought a year can pass by so quickly. If you love every moment of it, it just flies by… we have traveled to over 20 countries, lived in 2 and are now exploring the seas together working side by side. I love you and our adventures and can’t wait for all the years to come,” Dom wrote in an Instagram post at the time. 

Harry and Bri (Season 3)

Status: Not still together

Harry van Vliet, a lead deckhand, and Brianna “Bri” Duffield, a third stewardess, met and dated on the superyacht Katina on Below Deck Down Under Season 3. The two became exclusive toward the end of the season and left the boat together. However, the couple confirmed in an interview with The Daily Dish after the Below Deck Down Under Season 3 finale that they had broken up.

According to Harry, the two split due to distance—Harry is from Sydney, Australia, while Bri is from Mullica Hill, New Jersey. “Bri and I went our separate ways a few months after filming ended,” Harry said. “We traveled a bit, but then we had a difficult time with the long-distance relationship.” While Bri and Harry are no longer together, Harry confirmed that they remain friends. “We are still friends and in contact to this day,” Harry said.

Bri, for her part, also confirmed that she and Harry were still in contact after their breakup. “After traveling the world together, Harry and I remain great friends,” she said. “We keep in contact and he gives me great travel recommendations (outside of hostels).”

Harry previously confirmed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on March 12 that he was currently “single” and “on the prowl” following his boatmance with Bri. Bri also told the talk show that she and Harry were still “very, very close” and “talk often.” Chief Stewardess Lara Rigby also confirmed to The Daily Dish that Harry and Bri’s split was due to distance.

“You work away from each other,” she said. “You’ve got the distance and things like that. So, I think they had a lovely relationship and a lovely time together, and they’re still friends, which is, you know, the best thing that can come out of it.”

Marina and Nic (Season 3)

Status: Unclear

Marina Marcondes de Barros, a second stewardess, and Nicolas “Nic” Cattelan, met and dated on the superyacht Karina on Below Deck Down Under Season 3, which saw Marina invite Nic to travel with her after their charter season ended in the finale. “I don’t want you thinking that I don’t want you in South Africa,” Marina said. “I’m just too shy to ask you to come. But like f—k it. I really want you every single day there. I want to like wake up, have breakfast with you, and like make the best out of the week we’d have together.” Nick responded, “I would love to join you.”

Nic later confessed that he didn’t want to put expectations on his relationship with Marina. “I don’t want to have any expectations about where this goes. I’m just going to appreciate what we have while we have it,” he said.

Marina revealed in an interview with The Daily Dish that she took a “sabbatical” from yachting after Season 3 and went to South Africa. While she didn’t confirm whether she was still with Nic, Nic’s hometown is Cape Town, so her trip to South Africa could be a hint at the status of their relationship.

Nic also hinted that she and Marina were still together (or at least on good terms) in an Instagram post after the Season 3 finale. Nic collaborated with three Instagram accounts on the post: bosun Nate Salmon, producer Steve Hernandez, and Marina. “Everyone is the sum of there experiences, some of which we treasure and others we wish to forget. Remember to not take any of them too seriously or too lightly… And never forget what the real treasure is. Thank you. #belowdeck,” Nic captioned the post.

Nic also suggested that he and Marina were still together with another Instagram post with her a week before the Below Deck Down Under Season 3 finale, which she also collaborated with him on. “Always remember what the real treasure is,” he captioned the post in English before continuing in Portuguese, Marina’s native language: “Lembre-se sempre de qual é o verdadeiro tesouro.” (Marina is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.)
