With the increased popularity of the online fragrance community, people are more tapped into new perfumes than ever. So with that, we’re compiling a list of 2025’s new fragrance launches because with so many new scents coming out, someone’s gotta keep track. It seems as though, in lieu of a signature scent, it’s become increasingly common to want to build a collection of perfumes to layer and combine. the idea here being, the more options the better. And let’s be real, we also love a beautiful potion in an elegant glass bottle.

The Best New Fragrances at a Glance

Of course, it’s always easy to fall into overconsumption when it comes to shopping, but with more and more people tracking fragrance trends than ever before, it’s helpful to keep track of what launched when. At the moment, the fragrance space is wide open. After taking a years-long hiatus, it seems the Celebrity Perfume Industrial Complex has returned with full force. The era in the 2000s when Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, and Paris Hilton were all releasing fragrances like no tomorrow has arrived at its own tomorrow: celebs like Bella Hadid, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, and Rihanna have all released extremely hyped up perfumes in recent years. Only time will tell how well the resurgence of the celeb fragrance is actually doing though, because to be honest, I never really hear people talking about them.

In addition to that, or perhaps entirely separate from that, there are extremely popular indie perfumers, like Dedcool, Heretic Parfum, Liis Fragrances, and BoySmells competing with the big corporate-owned brands like Prada, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Bottega Veneta, and more. There are also so many affordable new players in the fragrance space like Phlur, Snif, Kayali, and more, making it easier than ever to build a collection.

Plus? We’ve identified a major fragrance through line: Vanilla. Not every new scent is gourmand this year, but it’s definitely back and better than ever.
