Personally, I think American Eagle jeans are on the same level as Abercrombie. As someone who has an extensive denim collection (everything from MOTHER to Levi’s), I love a high-low mix. AE is my “low”-end denim pick that fits like a luxury designer. You get quality, tried-and-true denim that fits all body types—and for a good price (AE jeans are literally always on sale). I also love AE jeans when I want to try on a trendy denim style but don’t want to commit to a more exclusive brand (i.e., barrel jeans or the super baggy ’90s jeans).
