Brayden and Christina got engaged during the live Golden Wedding special between Season 1 Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and his winner, Theresa Nist, on January 4, 2024. During The Golden Wedding, Brayden told host Jesse Palmer that h and Christina started dating after she slid into his DMs and they bonded over the band Tenacious D. Brayden then passed his and Christina’s microphones to Jesse before he grabbed her hands and proposed to her.

“Christina, from the moment that I picked you up from the airport with your crazy ass rose and your fake disguise, I just knew that there was something special and there was something different,” he said to Christina, who is the mother of of a 7-year-old daughter named Blakely.

Brayden went on to tell Christina how she made him feel like he could “unapologetically” be himself. “And I have no doubts that I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” he said. “And like Gerry said, it’s like, you know, we have such little time and … I just know that I want to spend the rest of my days with you.”

Brayden then proceeded to drop to one knee and pull out an engagement ring. “This is why we got our nails done?” Christina said as she accepted Brayden’s proposal. Jesse then confirmed that Brayden got Gerry and Theresa’s approval to propose to Christina during their wedding. . “Brayden actually called Gerry and Theresa and made sure he got their blessing before he proposed,” Jesse said. Brayden and Christina confirmed they were still together and engaged via social media after The Golden Wedding.
