He’s on his way to NFL stardom, but Brock Purdy’s college run has been quite an impressive feat for a young player. The 49ers quarterback was already a star in college, and with his first Super Bowl, it’s only going up for him now.

Born on December 27, 1999, in Queen Creek, Arizona, Purdy inherited his sports skills from his family. His father was a Minor League Baseball player for eight seasons, while Purdy’s older sister played softball at Southeastern University. Their younger brother Chubba was a starting quarterback at Perry before going to Florida State as a dual-threat quarterback.

Purdy started his varsity football career in 2015 as a sophomore at Perry High School and quickly established himself as a powerhouse. Heading into college was deemed a three-star prospect. Dubbed as “Mr. Irrelevant” because he was the last pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, he was later named the starting quarterback of the 49ers. He led his way to the Super Bowl and this is just the start of his career. So what is Brock Purdy’s college? Read more to find out.
