Brock Purdy College
Brock Purdy went to Iowa State University for college. According to 247Sports, Purdy turned down offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, Boise State, and others.
According to the Iowa State University records, Purdy finished his college football career owning/sharing 32 school records. By his last year in college in 2021, he owned virtually all career school passing records: passing yards (12,170), total offense (13,347), touchdown passes (81), touchdowns responsible (100), completions (993), passing efficiency (151.1) and completion pct. (67.7)
He also set a school record by throwing for a touchdown in 12 straight games and also set a school record for touchdowns responsible.
Patrick Mahomes commented on Purdy’s impressive college career. “I didn’t play him at Iowa State, but when he was at Iowa State, he was playing my (Texas Tech) Red Raiders,” Mahomes said in a press conference. “He was winning. He’s always been a winner.”
