The storks are coming in fast! The celebrity babies of 2024 include Henry Cavill, Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson, and Cameron Diaz welcomed her second child with her husband Benji Madden.
The celebrity babies of 2024 come in after a year of famous births in 2023. Some made the stars parents for the first time including Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas, and Ashley Olsen with her husband Louis Eisner. Others continued to add to their brood, like Kit Harington and Rose Leslie; Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their fourth; while Al Pacino at 83 welcomed his fourth child—his first with his girlfriend Noor Alfallah, and Robert De Niro welcomed his seventh child at age 79.
In a 2008 interview with NPR, Star magazine’s Chief Editorial Director Bonnie Fuller explained the public’s fascination with celebrity babies and how this came about. “I feel like the big turning point was the growth of the celebrity news weekly. It brought celebrity pregnancies into the mainstream, and we also celebrated them, and we quickly learned that women clearly wanted to see them because our sales went up,” she said.
“If you want to be a celebrity then it does come along with an interest by the public in your life. And most actors and actresses, they know that they don’t have to go shopping on Rodeo Drive. You can have a very low-key life if you want to and never be photographed.”

Ronda Rousey announced that she’s pregnant with her second child with husband Travis Brown. She’s already mom to daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō, 2.
“Did anyone notice that I’m very pregnant right now? Yeah, I’m just as pregnant as ‘Mom’ is in the majority of the comic,” Rousey jokingly said to the crowd in attendance at Comic-Con.
Mandy Moore announced that she was pregnant with her third child on Friday, May 31, 2024. In an Instagram post, she captioned a photo of her two children wearing “Middle” and Big” shirts, “Sometimes life imitates art. The third in our own Big Three coming soon. Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister. 💓💓💓”
The This Is Us actress and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith became parents in February 2021.
On April 14, 2024, Superman star Henry Cavill announced that he and his girlfriend of three years, Natalie Viscuso, were expecting their first child. Speaking with Access Hollywood at the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare premiere, he explained that his parents inspired him to become a father himself.
“Natalie and I are very, very excited,” he said. “We’re not shy of a kitchen dance party, I’ll tell you that much. A bottle of wine goes down range. Obviously not now—but previously,” he quipped when asked about their downtime at home.
He’s previously spoken about the idea of having kids in past interviews. “If I ever have kids one day, I want to be the dad who’s running round after them,” he told Men’s Health U.K. in 2017. “And if I do have kids, even now, it’s starting to get quite late. But I want to be a fit and healthy dad, not hobbling round like, ‘OK, I’m just going to catch a breather.'”
On March 26, news broke that Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson had welcomed their first child. They were photographed by the Daily Mail with Pattinson pushing a stroller while wearing a sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. In early April, Suki shared a first glimpse of their daughter.
“The postpartum period has been filled with exhilarating joy, so much laughter, tears, soo many hormones! I’m proud of everything my body has achieved and proud of the kindness and grace I’ve given myself during this recovery period,” Suki wrote on Instagram on April 4 in a follow-up post.
Having already welcomed their first child, Raddix, in December 2019. Then on March 22, 2024, they announced that they’d secretly welcomed their second child. “We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden❤️🙏,” they wrote in a joint Instagram statement. “He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here!”
Diaz and Madden noted that for their “kids’ safety and privacy,” they do not plan to share photos. “He’s a really cute [baby],” their statement added. “We are feeling so blessed and grateful 🍀Sending much love from our fam to yours 🙏❤️.”
On March 6, 2024, Gal Gadot announced she and her husband Jaron Varsano had welcomed their fourth child. “My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through. You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude. Welcome to the house of girls.. 👯♀️👯♀️ daddy is pretty cool too,” Gadot wrote on Instagram.
On March 15, NFL star quarterback Dak Prescott announced he and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, had welcomed their first child, a daughter. “MJ Rose, Being your parents is the biggest blessing life has to offer and we are so fortunate that you are ours! Welcome into this world, baby girl, you will always be loved and protected! We are so IN LOVE with you ♥️ Love, Mom & Dad 🙏,” he wrote on Instagram.
