Call it the Renaissance effect. Chrome-like, metallic hues are taking the fashion and beauty world by storm. Ever since Beyoncé dropped her seventh studio album last summer, we’ve seen the liquid metal and chrome makeup trend rising, culminating this summer at her Renaissance World Tour, where she asked her fans to dress in head-to-toe silver, creating a sea of chrome in the audience. Concert-goers opted for over-the-top, futuristic and galactic glam fashion paired with shining, crystalized beauty looks to match.
