In an interview with Us Weekly in November 2023, Danielle confirmed that she and Alex are not still together and their romance on Winter House Season 3 was just a “fun vacation hookup.” “No, fun vacation. Vacation fun,” Danielle said when asked if she was looking for something more with Alex. She also told the magazine about what attracted her to him at first. “His hair. It is well-conditioned, and he has this adorable quality. You can’t be mad at him longer than two seconds, and I just need that,” she said.
Danielle and her Winter House Season 3 co-star Jordan Emanuel (who was on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 1) revealed that she was a love triangle involving them and Alex, which turned into a love octagon on Winter House Season 3. “It turned into an octagon at some point. It was all over the map basically,” Jordan said. Despite their love triangle with Alex, Danielle and Jordan confirmed that they left the Winter House on good terms. “Yeah, after we fought, we came right back together,” Danielle said.
Danielle and Jordan also credited Alex for the drama in their love triangle. “I blame Alex. I blame Alex on everything,” Jordan said. Danielle added, “The thing is that you can’t be mad at him for that long.” Jordan continued, “Because he means well.
