Iconic British popstar Dua Lipa headlined iconic British music festival Glastonbury this weekend. The performance was incredible of course, and so were the vibes between her and her boyfriend Calum Turner chain smoking through the festival grounds (that’s my girl.) But the best part of it all? The looks.
And maybe it’s to be expected. After all, she was a total Mugler girl during the Future Nostalgia tour. But it’s cool to see our girl branching out into new style with a new album cycle. For her Glasto headline, she pulled out all the stops.
The final look was this custom black bodysuit from Loewe. The top is a glitzy black halter, which connects to the bottom by giant belt buckle. The shorts are black leather microshorts with studs.
The fourth look of the set was this custom matching two piece set from Acne Studios. The look was made of deconstructed studded t-shirts.
Third look is a look from designer Michael Schmidt. She’s wearing black snake skin microshorts and a cropped baseball shirt. She’s got a chain belt around your waist.
For her second look, Dua Lipa wore a custom gray Versace slip dress. The bra of the dress had lace, which also appeared at the skirt’s hem. The dress had the appearance of a silk bodysuit with a skirt on top, so there were cut outs at the hips where the skirt sat lower.
Dua started her set in a custom Chrome Hearts leather look. It’s giving major club rat, dirtbag grunge, and I couldn’t love it more. The top of the bodysuit laces up at the chest. She had a wide studded belt at the waist, and chains and safety pins dripping everywhere.
