So many soft, dreamy colors.

My apartment is my favorite place in the world. It feels like a true sanctuary, simply because I’ve made an intentional effort to buy furniture I know I’d love. Design-wise, I like to think of it as part modern and part maximalist—I love vibrant colors and sleek, simple pieces. My mantra has always been, what is life if not hunting for the perfect statement couch?

It’s crazy how furniture can completely transform an otherwise plain, lackluster space into something beautiful. The fabric of a pillow or the color of a couch can have an immense impact on the overall vibe of a room, so it’s safe to say that the small details really do matter. If you’re not caught up with the latest interior design styles though, it might be difficult to know what kinds of pieces are out there in the first place.

Luckily, you’ve come to the right place, and I’ve done some digging on up-and-coming furniture trends, and rounded them up for you in this list. If you’re like me and an emerald green velvet couch speaks to you in ways most men can’t, you’re in luck because it’ll continue to be hot for next year. And even if jewel-toned colors aren’t your jam, this list has something for everyone. Whether you’re moving into a new space and want to design your space from scratch, or simply update pre-existing furniture to give your home a facelift, this list of 2025 Furniture Trends won’t lead you astray.

To get some expert opinion into the trends to shop for next year, I spoke with interior design expert Brittany Farinas, Founder and Creative Director at House of One in Miami, Florida. She shared trends that have not only been popular this year, but also spoke on timeless ones, too. And if looking through hundreds of pages of furniture on retailer sites feels overwhelming, don’t worry, I’ve done the work for you and included the best of the bunch in this roundup. I’ve turned to the Holy Trinity of chic furniture—Anthro, Urban, and Wayfair—for potential items to shop, so you can’t go wrong with any of the items on this list. (You’re welcome.)
