We all know the best parts about Halloween are the costumes, decor, and candy, but no one talks about the spooky drinks born from the holiday. And I’m not just talking about the alcoholic kind—there are so many creative nonalcoholic Halloween mocktails out there. You may not even realize they exist.

As someone who doesn’t drink very often, I always appreciate a nonalcoholic option at any party or event. While juices and sodas are nice, they don’t feel as special as an aesthetically pleasing mixed drink. Mocktails always manage to wow me with their complexity and depth. There’s just something about a vibrantly colored beverage, complete with a thoughtfully chosen garnish, that does it for me every time.

With Halloweekend approaching (how are we at the end of October already?), you may be looking for a nonalcoholic drink to make for a crowd. Perhaps you’re throwing a party or you want to make drinks for a few people coming over. Either way, with more people embracing a sober curious lifestyle, you’ll probably want to make at least one batch of something zero-proof to ensure everyone has something to sip on throughout the night. I mean, I know if I went to a Halloween party and saw some appropriately macabre nonalcoholic drinks, I’d be thoroughly impressed.

Whether you’re sober-curious, looking to making kid-friendly drinks, or just want to try your hand at mixology, this list of Halloween mocktails has you covered. We’ve rounded up 11 recipes that are hauntingly delicious, including Hocus Pocus Punch, Candy Corn Sour, and Bloody Shirley Temple. They’re all easy to make and require little to no prep time. And no matter which drink you decide to make, be sure to garnish with some Halloween candy (gummy worms or candy corn will do), because that’s always fun. Enjoy.
