Urban Outfitters just released an exclusive Hello Kitty x Monchhichi collection that has deep nostalgic roots—and is honestly so much cuter (and less creepy) than a Labubu monster.
Monchhichi is a collection of Japanese monkey dolls that date back to 1974 and were originally created to represent friendship and happiness (okay, cute!). These dolls have since become a cult-favorite collector’s item with some stores, like Urban Outfitters, releasing new designs such as the Monchhichi Fruit Beanie Plushie.
The Hello Kitty x Monchhichi collection features three limited-edition designs, which include two bag charms featuring a plush Hello Kitty and Monchhichi doll dressed up as each other. Each bag charm is sold separately and given the brand popularity and limited-edition nature of these plush keychains, they’ll definitely sell out.
