Boo Baskets are all the rage right now on TikTok, and as someone who loves giving gifts, I can admit that I really want to make one. Every other video on my For You Page is of someone picking out items for their Boo Baskets, and now, it’s giving me major FOMO. In case you haven’t heard of the trend, Boo Baskets are basically Halloween-themed gift baskets. They’re filled to the brim with all kinds of autumn-inspired treats and trinkets, including fall-themed snacks, pumpkin-scented beauty products, and orange home goods, (but the options are endless!)
There’s no right or wrong way to build a Boo Basket, but because the options are limitless, it can be difficult to think of items for it. To simplify your Boo Basket-making experience, I’ve broken it down into a formula. For every Boo Basket, you’ll want to include around 6 to 12 items, making sure each of the items fits into one of these categories: something sweet, something cozy, something practical, and something that puts the brain to work. And ideally, most (if not all) of these items are orange, Halloween-themed, or in some way related to Autumn. Oh, and of course, you’ll need an appropriately spooky basket to carry all of these things.
You can give a Boo Basket to anyone who needs a little gift in their life, including girlfriends, boyfriends, friends, or honestly, yourself. Boo Baskets a way of showing someone that you love and appreciate them, and that they deserve a little treat (or, a dozen little treats wrapped in a Halloween-themed basket.)
