Is Jenn the next Bachelorette for 2024?
Is Jenn the next Bachelorette for 2024? The answer seems to be no. While ABC hasn’t confirmed whether who the lead is for The Bachelorette Season 21, Reality Steve revealed on his podcast in March 2024 that the next Bachelorette is likely between Maria Georgas, who came in fourth place, and Daisy Kent, who made it to the finale of The Bachelor Season 28. “This is probably a situation where it’s between Maria and Daisy,” Steve said. “I think the show is very well aware that they are deciding between Maria and Daisy, I do not think they have made a decision yet.”
He continued, “ABC can do whatever they want because they’ve got us all over a barrel just dissecting everything. They’ve told people in the past they are the lead, and all of a sudden they weren’t. Because they changed their mind at the last minute… It’s a 50/50 shot, it’s not like, oh my gosh, someone’s gonna come out of left field,” Steve said. “No, it’s more than likely, based on everything I’ve heard, going to be between Daisy or Maria.”
That said, there is still a fanbase who wants Jenn as the next Bachelorette. If Jenn, who is of Vietnamese descent, was to be the next Bachelorette, she would be the first Asian lead in Bachelor Nation history. “JENN FOR BACHELORETTE i am seated!,” a user tweeted. Another wrote, “Just letting y’all know that Jenn got the Bachelorette exit. #TheBachelor” One more user tweeted, “CAN WE PLS GET OUR FIRST ASIAN BACHELORETTE 🌹 Jenn’s speech in the car screams potential and she deserves it ❤️❤️.” Another user wrote, “Jenn for Bachelorette! Not only is she intelligent, hilarious, sweet, genuine, and stunning, but why has this show been on for over two decades without an Asian lead?!”
One reason Jenn may not be the next Bachelorette or be on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 is her current enrollment as a physician assistant student, she had to take a break from to film The Bachelor Season 28. . “First and foremost, no I did not drop out of school,” she said in an Instagram post in February 2024. “The deciding factor of me putting my career on hold was, honestly, Joey. I was terrified when I found out it was Joey because I realized that it was all becoming real and that I needed to ask permission from my school to go and do the show.”
“She was so supportive of it,” Jenn continued of her advisor’s reaction to her taking a break from PA school to film The Bachelor. “[She was like] ‘We can absolutely do this. We can put two rotations on hold for you and you can just repeat them after advanced didactic year.’” (For more on the next Bachelorette for 2024, click here.)
