Layering is imperative in the winter for both fashion and functional purposes. While he was off duty for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, White layered a quilted jacket over a black hoodie, battling the elements and attempting to remain semi-incognito. His choice to wear white jeans in winter was bold, breaking the age-old rule of never wearing white after Labor Day, but he’s never one to adhere to our grandparents’ style rules. He completed the look with classic white lace-up low-top sneakers, which aren’t ideal winter footwear, but are a shoe that pairs with everything.

As soon as fall arrived, Allen took it as an opportune time to debut the beanie. For his trip to the farmer’s market, White wore one of his signature white T-shirts layered over a navy Lacoste vest and paired with khaki pants. He completed his look with white and blue Adidas sambas. It was a very Jeremy Allen White approach to putting a twist on a preppy schoolboy look. The oversized plaid grocery bag, complete with flowers, was also a great accidental accessory.

We’re convinced White has a section in his closet just for his white shirts in various silhouettes, from T-shirts to button-downs. For a November 2023 appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the actor wore a white button-down shirt with a bold navy pinstripe suit, looking like someone straight out of “Wolf of Wall Street.” He arrived at the studio wearing a beige baseball cap, helping downplay the banker aesthetic. It was one of Allen’s more formal looks outside the red carpet, proving he can clean up even when it isn’t awards season.

White’s fall and winter accessory of choice was a baseball cap. After showcasing how he could wear it with a suit, he went from formal to semi-formal when he paired his baseball cap with a button-up chambray shirt and a cardigan-style blazer. The infamous baseball hat in question is a New York Mets 9Fifty cap. White has made his loyalty to his preferred baseball team known.

Although White has never given a behind-the-scenes tour of his home, it’s safe to assume it’s stocked with fresh flowers, given his trips to the farmer’s market, where he’s often photographed leaving with flowers. For a January 2024 outing, the actor once again donned his signature Mets baseball cap. With the cooler weather, he adopted his take on the Steve Jobs uniform, wearing a black crewneck sweater, jeans and comfortable black loafers.

On another one of his flower excursions, White kept it sporty with his signature Mets baseball cap and a black long-sleeve Lacoste polo. The polo was a sensible option, as depending on how the temperature varied throughout the day, he could roll the sleeves up or down. He opted for a light-wash jean. Although bleached and gray denim are trending now, White might be on to something with his light-wash jeans.

In early March, White was already providing lessons in spring transitional layering. The actor wore a denim jacket over a white shirt with black trousers. In addition to his signature Mets baseball cap, one of Allen’s go-to style pieces is his white Nike Cortez sneakers. White recently broke the internet and solidified his love of luxury brands when preparing to appear on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” The actor took the quiet luxury approach to style by wearing an all-black outfit, but what got everyone talking was his $1,159 polo shirt from Italian luxury brand Giuliva Heritage. The polo in question is a silk, cashmere and linen blend, which is a great luxury material blend for the start of summer.

While he was in Los Angeles, White decided to head out to Joan’s on Third for lunch. He sported one of his signature white T-shirts, but this time going for an ultra-casual summer look, coordinating the T-shirt with distressed light-wash jeans with tips at the knees, and a braided black leather belt with a gold buckle. His black belt with gold hardware matched perfectly with his black Adidas slides with a gold logo. He used his sunglasses to push his hair back.
