The rumors Burrow and Ponton are dating aren’t new, it’s just that Ponton being the one to call 911 after Burrow’s house was burglarized made those rumors resurface—with people wondering what other reason Ponton would have to be at Burrow’s house on a Monday night while Burrow was in Texas playing a game if the two weren’t dating.

According to documents from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Ponton wasn’t at Burrow’s home in a personal capacity but was instead reported as an employee of Burrow, so there’s that. However, TMZ Sports also reported that the audio of Ponton calling police had her saying “Someone broke into my house … It’s like completely messed up,” so take that as you will.

DeuxMoi had originally reported on June 28 that the two were allegedly dating, with the celebrity gossip outlet quoting a source as saying, “Not sure if it’s 100% serious, but something has definitely been going on over the past couple months.”

Ponton has a rather large social media following, with 2.9 million followers on Instagram and 7.6 million followers on TikTok.

Holzmacher and Burrow went public with their relationship in 2017, back when Burrow was in Ohio State. When Burrow transferred over to Louisiana State University, she even posted a cute Instagram post with the caption, “When you fangirl your own boyfriend. And last year, former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones even claimed the two were engaged.

However, Burrow and Holzmacher have not been seen together since Holzmacher shared a picture of them on January 31 and have not been seen together at all this NFL season. That’s a pretty long time, which has led people to speculate the two have broken up. NFL players breaking up with their college girlfriends to date a model once they make it big is practically a tradition at this point, after all.
