Joe Jonas Reveals Where He Stands With Sophie Turner After Their Custody Battle Over Their Daughters: ‘What I Want… ‘

Alena Rose Jonas is Kevin and Daniela’s firstborn child. She was born on February 2, 2014. Danielle revealed the news to the eldest Jonas by pulling off a sweet gesture. “First, I took like 12 tests to confirm it,” she told Fit Pregnancy. “Then I took all the socks out of his drawer and filled it with diapers and a bib that said, ‘I love Daddy.’ I also put all the tests in there and a sign that said, ‘I’ll meet you in nine months.'”

When she was in Kindergarten, she almost spoiled the Jonas Brothers’ long-awaited reunion. “We were trying to keep it a secret for basically a year,” Nick Jonas told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “We were like, ‘We got this on lock. No one’s gonna tell,’ and Kevin comes home and says, ‘Guys, Alena told her whole class.'”

The eldest Jonas cousin made her movie debut in A Very Jonas Christmas. On the experience, she told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet that she was very nervous. Her mom did divulge that she had acting on her mind, saying, “she’s always loved the whole acting, kind of theater thing.”

Valentina Rose Jonas is Kevin and Danielle Jonas’ second daughter. They welcomed her on Oct. 27, 2016.

The eldest JoBro talked about life adjusting to a family of four to People. “I think [Danielle] was more of a wreck than anyone else,” Kevin said. “It definitely became very real ’cause you’re in the moment, you’re obviously going through labor and she has the baby and it’s euphoric and awesome. And then reality strikes in when your other one walks in the door.”

For her acting debut, it came naturally to her. “I usually would be (nervous), but I wasn’t,” she told ET. “I was like, ‘Oh my God!’”

“She’s actually very shy,” Danielle said of Valentina. “But then when the camera came out, I saw, like, a new person on her.”

Willa Jonas

Willa Jonas is Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s first child. She was born on July 22, 2020. News of the pregnancy broke in March 2020 when a source told Just Jared,  “The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them,” they said. Another source told JJ that, “Sophie has decidedly been choosing outfits to wear on and off the carpet to accommodate her changing body.”

 In May 2023, Sophie Turner posted a video of Willa on Instagram but quickly deleted it. “I’m very protective of the life we’ve built,” she said in a subsequent Instagram post. “Every time Joe and I do a red carpet together, we make sure it’s for the right reason and makes sense for our careers. You never want to market yourself as a celebrity couple. It’s not that cool.”

“And my daughter never asked for any of this,” she went on. “I know what it can do to your mental health to be in this industry, and to be photographed every day and have the comments. It’s not something I want her to deal with unless she says, ‘This is what I want to do.’ We’re quite strict about that. We’ll encourage her to do whatever she wants but I don’t think we would professionally let her do anything until she’s 18. I also feel quite strongly about my daughter not becoming a nepotism child.”

The couple divorced in 2023. After a bitter custody battle, the two found peace in co-parenting. ”Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true,” Joe told Jay Shetty on the On Purpose Live Tour in 2025. “I have a beautiful coparenting relationship that I’m really grateful for. Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.”

“As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them,” he said. “I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence and know that they can do literally anything they want.”

Delphine Jonas

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas welcomed their second child on July 14, 2022. While the two hadn’t divulged the name of their little girl to the world until their bitter custody battle, it was revealed in court documents to be Delphine. The family moved to Miami shortly after her birth.

“It’s an adjustment period,” Jonas told People about becoming a dad to a newborn. “Just something that I’m learning as I go, I think I can now work a little bit harder to take time off. I’m still trying to figure it out. Some weeks are a little bit more challenging than others, but it makes it a lot easier when you enjoy your gig … I wake up every day just thrilled to be able to go make music or act and create different projects and have a beautiful family, so it feels like a dream come true.”

“We went to come visit and we just loved it. I saw a whole different side of Miami that I’ve never experienced — really quiet areas, and the food’s amazing. I feel like it’s the best-kept secret,” he explained.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas welcomed their first baby Malti Marie Chopra Jonas on Jan. 21, 2022 via surrogate. Her first 100 days was spent in the NICU. “Our little girl’s home. She’s just amazing. What a gift a baby is,” Nick told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

The little one had her red carpet debut when the Jonas Brothers received their Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2023.
