Justin Bieber is back and better than ever. The “Baby” singer announced his surprise second album drop of the year Swag II just weeks after Swag, and it’s filled with his utmost devotion to his wife, Hailey Bieber.
In the new album, Bieber doubles down on his love for Hailey and his son Jack Blues. He’s definitely standing on business after much speculation that their marriage is breaking down. Hailey talked about the effects of the negative rumors in her Vogue cover story, “I feel like I’ve fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me. And people just don’t want to sometimes. And there’s nothing you can do about that,” she told the magazine. “I’ve been in a position where I’ve tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie and then they go, Well, she’s lying. Imagine how trapping that feels.”
She continued, “I’ve learned so much from Justin, really. He’s been doing this literally since he was a child and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know. He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.’”
On the day of the release, the Rhode founder celebrated her husband’s achievements, “Happy swag II day,” and then posted a screenshot of “Bad Honey” on her Instagram stories saying, “this is my shittttt.” She also posted screenshots for “Love Song,” “I Do,” and “When It’s Over.”

Justin Bieber makes it clear from the get-go in the first song, “Speed Demon” that Hailey is his number one. “That’s paving me a new lane and giving me an energy / And there’s something in the way she made me certain I’m enough / Everyday she put the loving on me / And all the people that be doubting on me,” he sings in one of the verses.
In “Better Man,” Justin leans into the romantic feelings and even reminisces over his wedding. “This feeling is a good one and a nice thing, uh / Church bells and throwing rice things, uh-huh / I can tell you’re gonna like this.”
Justin has a blunt message in “Love Song.” “Spellbound, baby, it’s like magic when you kiss me /

Justin really gushes over his relationship with Hailey in “Better Man” where he’s totally overwhlemed with his love for her. “You must be a specialist, there’s your messages / Really got me questionin’ what my profession is / I just been a lover ever since I let you in / All of us together, I’m in heaven,” he sings.
Justin touches on his first experiences with fatherhood in “Mother in You” and sings about how he is in awe of his son Jack Blues being born and the power Hailey has as a mother. In the first couple of lines, he sings, “You opened your eyes / That was when I knew / Ooh, it would change me / There’s a beautiful world that’s waiting for you”
Despite all the breakup rumors, Justin’s willing to do whatever it takes to keep his relationship prevailing. “I don’t wanna give a fuck (No), I know what I should be (Oh) / I don’t wanna mess this up (Oh-oh-oh), I don’t want you to leave (Oh),” he sings in the chorus.
Bakar also sings about money in his feature, “I seen a better life, I hope you don’t get fed up / There’s certain things you can’t buy-uy.” Maybe a nod to Hailey’s latest milestone of selling her company?
“When It’s Over” also touches upon the rough patches the couple goes through. “I get in my head every time that we go blow for blow, babe / And the words that I throw ricochet and they cut straight through me.”
Justin and Hailey obviously don’t care what the world thinks of them and they revel in the cute moments they have together. “And if you mean anyways something to me / We can dance, honey, we can make this a scene,” he croons in the first verse.
Justin’s relationship with Hailey is extremely valuable as he says she’s “ain’t less to none.” He also paints a steamy vignette in the back of their car, but not without revealing his hunger for her. “I need you relaxed now, babe (Oh) / I just want a snack now, Lays (Lays) / I just wanna act out, babe (Oh)/ Do it on my lap now, ayy”
Amid all the terrible tabloid stories about the speculation of their relationship, Justin leans into tender moments with his girl. “And always (Ways), I’ll keep you safe / If I could, I would erase (I would erase)/ Every word that can make you cry / Mm, I’ll hold you close,” he sings int he second verse.
Despite the incredible highs in their relationship, there ought to be some lows. Justin remembers a moment where they were knee deep in a fight, but in all honesty, he didn’t want to be in a fight in the first place. “It’s easy when you’re leading me on / Displeasing when you’re blocking me out / I’ll take the bait if that’s what you want (If that’s what you want) / I guess we’re fighting (Woah).
Even Justin’s love transcends life itself. “Oh, in my grave place I’ll speak to you, baby,” he sings in the ongoing verse.
