Liam Payne Posted an Eerie Video About His ‘Lovely Day’ Moments Before His Death

Just an hour before his death, Liam Payne updated his fans through the social media app Snapchat. The One Direction member posted about his trip to Argentina and his itinerary for the day.
Liam Payne died after falling off a third-floor story hotel room balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel on October 16, 2024. Alberto Crescenti, Buenos Aires emergency services chief, told La Nación that Liam Payne suffered “serious injuries” that were untreatable once responders arrived at the scene. The “Strip That Down” singer consistently updated his fans through social media.

Liam Payne posted an update from Argentina where he teases his girlfriend Kate Cassidy of going home.

Polo Snapchat Story
Liam Payne expressed excitement about playing polo and riding horses during his stay in Argentina. “Today, we ride. I think I’m going to be playing polo again, which is going to put me out of action for about six weeks. Honestly, polo, out of everything I’ve ever done sports-wise, not that I’m taking up polo professionally, by the way, I’m just like, I had a go for some fun.”
He continued, “It’s so hard to do, number one. Number two, my back and my neck from swinging that hammer around, or mallet, I think it’s called, if you’re in the know, it’s polo language.”

Liam Payne urges fans to donate to charity
In September 2024, Liam Payne told fans about the importance of donating to charities close to their heart. “I’ve always felt lucky for the position I’m in, he said in a SnapChat video. “My life aspiration was to be a superhero but I can’t fly, I’m not a great mechanic, I wasn’t affected by radiation and and I’m not incredibly strong.”
He continued, “All I know is that there are websites out there to donate to sick children that need your help. It doesn’t matter how small or how big the donation is, all that matters is you looking in that child’s eyes.”

Taking photos with fans
A fan posted a video of her taking pictures with Liam Payne shortly before his death and asked if he listened to Spanish music, in which he ended up singing. One fan who talked to Daily Mail after the encounter said that Liam told her “I used to be in a boy band – that’s why I’m so f**ked up.”
