Lily Allen ‘Triggered’ by David Harbour After She Allegedly Discovered He Was on a Dating App

January 10, 2025: Lily Allen checks into trauma clinic

Lily Allen reportedly checked into a $ 10,000-a-week trauma clinic in the US following the cheating rumors. “It was very painful for Lily to return home,” a source told DailyMail. “David used to be her saviour and now he’s a trigger for her. Lily settled her kids back into the family home and took them to school for their new term, then flew herself straight to rehab. She went a day earlier than intended as she felt wobbly and desperate to escape.”  

The gossip site reports that Allen will take part in intensive group counseling sessions and one-on-one therapy in which she will “unpack” her emotions. She also surrendered her phone and will take walks in the countryside. Allen has been open in the past about her struggles with addiction. She got sober in 2019.

January 9, 2025: Lily Allen announces break from podcast

In a new episode of her podcast Miss Me? with co-host Miquita Oliver, Allen announced that she’s taking a break from the pod. “I’m finding it hard to be interested in anything,” she said. I’m really not in a good place. I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiralling and spiralling and spiralling, and it’s got out of control.”

She recounted suffering panic attacks and not being able to go to functions. “There will be speculation, because of the amount of time that I’m going to be taking away, that I’m going to drug rehab, and I’m not. I’ve not relapsed.”

She also shut down rumors about drug use and called out “horrible blind items on the internet … vicious rumors.”

January 6, 2025: Source reveals Lily Allen did detective work on Raya

Though they met on the dating app, Lily Allen rejoined the app after suspicions that her husband was on Raya again. “Lily was looking for women that were on Raya and cross-referencing them with women David follows on Instagram to try to figure out who he was seeing,” a source disclosed to the Mail on Sunday.

The source continued, “Lily has never even looked at anyone since she met David. She is devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago. He was meant to be on holiday with her in Kenya over Christmas.”

Though screenshots are notoriously not allowed on the dating app, Harbour’s Raya profile description reads, “Visiting New York from Atlanta” and “closet nerd that plays tough guys on your TV.”

2019: David Harbour & Lily Allen meet on Raya

It’s reported that David Harbour and Lily Allen met on the exclusive dating app Raya.

On the Jonathan Ross Show, the “Smile” singer talked about how she didn’t know who Harbour was when she was on the app. ‘It was the first time I’d been on this dating app. I was scrolling through and landed on David’s profile and pressed accept.”

‘I didn’t know who he was,” she recalled. “I thought he was just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show because he was wearing a policeman’s uniform. It was a still from Stranger Things. I’d never seen Stranger Things.”

‘I don’t even know what I was looking for. It was just something to do on holiday, swiping, it’s a bit of fun,” she continued. “When I met him I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere. He was here filming Black Widow. He was only going to be here for a couple of months. And then it did [go somewhere].”
