Turner Kufe (2020, 2024 – present)
Lindsay Hubbard revealed that she’s dating a man who she first hooked up with during the COVID pandemic. While his identity was first kept secret, People confirmed on July 10, 2024, that Hubbard’s mystery man was Turner Kufe, a doctor who works in biotech investing and desires to stay out of the spotlight.
In an Instagram story earlier in the week, Hubbard explained why she had initially kept his identity a secret. “This is not about us being proud of each other or not. He is so beyond proud to be my boyfriend and father of my child, and vice versa,” she said. “We are very much in love and have a beautiful relationship. This is about his work, his privacy, and the fact that it is not his job to be public like me.”
She told People: “He’s just so excited to be a dad and proud to be having a child with me,” she said. “It just means the world to have someone like him by my side. And yes, it is a lot of pressure on a new relationship, but I think because he’s the right man because we are so bonded and connected and communicate very effectively with each other that it hasn’t felt like work.”
On the “Bible Bitch” podcast in May 2024, Lindsay gushed over her “wonderful man,” and explained their history. “He broke things off with me, but he did it in such a respectful way,” Hubbard shared of the initial text “I went back and was like, ‘Let me see what this guy said.’ It was the nicest text ever, ‘cause most guys will just ghost you or fade away or disappear or whatever.”
They reconnected and it seems like the publicist is content in this relationship. “I’m pretty much done with those reality TV boys. He’s, like, unfazed by it. He’s like, ‘[I] respect you and that’s what you do,’ but he doesn’t care about it,” she stated. “He’s successful in his own field and has a great job. He works very hard, is extremely driven and ambitious and, yeah, and keeps me happy in the bedroom.”
In the Summer House season 8 reunion which aired in early June 2024, Hubbard was interrogated by Andy Cohen. “Are you seeing anybody?” the host asked. “I am,” she responded. “Has he seen the show?” Andy asked. “No,” Lindsay firmly said, while Andy replied with a simple “Oh, boy.”
Hubbard announced in an Instagram post on July 4, 2024, that she and her boyfriend were expecting their first child together. “Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!💥💥 I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! 💫,” she captioned the post.
“The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!! 🦁🎁 #ClearbluePartner #ClearblueConfirmed Edited · 1h kate_chastain’s profile picture Congratulations!! Imagine making someone sandwiches all the time and they never make one for you…..but with this little person it’s totally okay 💗.”
Hubbard also shared a second pregnancy post in which she thanked her followers for their support of her baby news. “I woke up this morning feeling so blessed and grateful for this journey 🙏🥰 ,” she wrote. “But most of all, I’m relieved and excited to finally be able to celebrate openly, and with the world. It has been extremely difficult to hide my excitement in secrecy, and now that I’m able to share my happiness and joy, I feel like a weight has been lifted (even though I’m actually gaining weight by the day lol)! Our little cub is already so so loved! 🥹 Thank you for all of the sweet comments, love, and support! We are truly over the moon right now! ❣️”
Hubbard also told People at the time of her announcement that she and her boyfriend weren’t even planning for the pregnancy. “It was a surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning, but we had some honest conversations and it just felt so right for both of us,” she said, adding that she and her boyfriend were only together for a few months before she got pregnant.
“It immediately and unmistakably displayed with words ‘You are pregnant’ and as shocking as that was, having a really clear result just helped alleviate the unknown. Those next steps are a little scary, but at least they’re easier just knowing one way or another what you’re working with.”
In an interview with StyleCaster, Lindsay revealed if she’s down to show her boyfriend on TV. “This is an interesting, unique dynamic I’ve never experienced before. I’ve dabbled in the reality TV guy world. It has not gone over well. I have dated guys who I had to worry about their intentions and if they were using me for fame, social climbing, or clout chasing. This is the first time I’ve ever dated someone who is like, ‘No, I am just private.’ It’s challenging because I’m a public person, and I get a lot of joy out of openly sharing my life with the world because I know I can help other women.
