And America and the world will be watching.” Observing that the fans have the best questions, Vanessa prompted, “We want to know, who do you want to see invited to the reunion, and what questions do you want us to ask?”
It comes after the drama of filming the Love is Blind season 4 reunion, where technical difficulties caused the broadcast to be delayed by 19 hours. During a Q1 earnings interview, via Variety, Netflix CEOs Greg Peters and Ted Sarandos came clean about what the issue was.
“We’re really sorry to disappoint so many people,” Peters said, revealing, “We had just a bug that we introduced, actually, when we implemented some changes to try to improve live-streaming performance after the last live broadcast.” Peters added that the bug wasn’t detected during internal testing, and it wasn’t apparent until Netflix “put multiple systems interacting with each other under the load of millions of people trying to watch Love Is Blind.” He insisted that Netflix “[does] have the fundamental infrastructure,” and “we’ll learn from it and will get better.”
