Host Maya Jama returns this season with an all new cast. “I’m so excited to return to Mallorca this summer because it feels like we’ve had a big gap since the winter series,” she said in a press release. “I’m ready for it, the fans are waiting, there’s lots of anticipation and I can’t wait to meet this year’s Islanders. Love Island is the official start of summer.”

The show, which is one of the highest-rated series in the UK, has also led to real-life marriages and babies for couples who met as contestants such as season 2’s Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, who are married and share two children, and season 3’s Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt, who welcomed a baby in 2020. Some haven’t found love after the show, however Love Island: All Stars also reunited some previous single cast members with new pairings.
