Are Jess and Sammy still together from Love Island UK Season 10? Jess Harding, a 22-year-old from Uxbridge, and Sammy Root, a 22-year-old from Kent, were the winners of Love Island UK Season 10. Jess entered the villa on Day 1, while Sammy entered on Day 4.
So are Jess and Sammy still together from Love Island UK Season 10? The answer is yes. Jess and Sammy confirmed they were still together in a joint Instagram post after the Love Island UK Season 10 finale on July 31, 2023. “WINNERS Thank you to everyone who have supported both of us through this amazing journey. Absolutely have no words,” Jess captioned an Instagram photo of them at the finale. Sammy reposted the image on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Well that was a journey.” At the time of writing this, both Jess and Sammy still follow each other on Instagram.
After Jess and Sammy’s win on Love Island UK Season 10, their cast mate, Kady McDermott, defended them in an Instagram Story against viewers who claim their win was “rigged.” “The comments I’ve seen all over socials with people arguing and not being happy who the winners of LI are is totally ridiculous,” she wrote. “No one deserves to read this nasty stuff when coming out of the villa, everyone in the villa are real people with feelings. No one deserved to win more than anyone else, the finalists all deserved to win equally.”
Before her post, Kady also defended Jess and Sammy against critics in an interview with Heat World in July 2023. “They’re literally best friends,” Kady said. “When I came out and saw this narrative of Sammy I was like, ‘No, not our Sammy,’ because he seemed like a little brother.” She continued, “He is so sweet, him and Jess are obsessed with each other. They are best friends, they make each other laugh, there is a a lot of sexual tension with them.”
