Olivia’s Boyfriend Didn’t Watch Southern Charm Before They Were Dating

Alex (2023 – present)

Olivia revealed that she’s in a relationship with a man named Alex. “His name’s Alex [and] he’s from Dallas. We met at a wedding,” Olivia revealed in an episode of the “Viall Files” podcast. “I was my dad’s date [to the ceremony] and he was running late to it. So, I’m walking in by myself, late, and [Alex] was the usher and he’s like, ‘Can I walk you down the aisle?’ I was like, ‘It’s a little soon, but OK.’”

“I like him a lot. He lives in Dallas, which is where I’m from,” she said. “It is [long distance], but he can work remote, so he’s in Charleston a little bit.”

When asked by the Not Skinny, But Not Fat podcast if she was “happy” that her boyfriend is not in the public eye, Olivia responded, “I am.”

“But he also never watched the show. I made him watch it with me, and I have a video of him watching it,”

“[Austen and I] have mutual friends that have this sick place in the Bahamas and he and I both got them in the divorce. They invited us both on this trip, with, like, a group of people, and we both went,” Flowers said on Thursday, noting she brought along Alex and Kroll invited his new girlfriend. “We were able to put our bulls—t aside.”

“‘You don’t have to be buddy-buddies,’ He’s like, ‘I got this, it’s fine,'” Olivia remembered telling her boyfriend Alex ahead of the trip. “And then, four hours later, I look and they’re both driving up on a golf cart together. And I was like, ‘There weren’t enough golf carts at the club; y’all had to get in the same one?’ But, no, it was fine.”

Rod Razavi (2023)

Olivia was linked briefly to Rod Razavi after she broke up with Austen Kroll. The two didn’t really last as Rod told Us Weekly at BravoCon, “I think with the timing and everything that was going on, it just made sense to kind of pull back and make sure we could stay friends. So, when I kind of sensed her pulling back emotionally, it was easier [to do the same].”

He continued, “We went through a lot on the show together. We went through a lot off the show. We spent a lot of time together not filming,” and also noted that they were “good friends.” 

“I never say never, and Rod just exudes Southern gentleman, and it was such a breath of fresh air,” Olivia said at the “It’s All About to Go South” pane at BravoConl. “I mean, weirder things have happened with this cast, so.”

Austen Kroll (2021 – 2022)

Olivia started dating Austen Kroll in May 2022, when the socialite revealed that they were in the early stages of their relationship. “Olivia is this lovely, lovely woman who is now a cast member, which we can say. I’m just so excited for people to meet her,” he told Us Weekly. “She truly, in my opinion, brings the charming back to our show.”

“Austen slid into my DMs, which is oh, so romantic,” she revealed during a confessional in season 8. “I would say it makes me a little giddy to see him.”

However, the relationship deteriorated by the end of the time the reunion aired. “We both talked and we’re like, ‘I don’t want to ever lose you in the capacity that we’ve seen our friends,’” Kroll told host Andy Cohen. “Or in the way like me and Madison don’t speak. She was like, ‘That would break my heart’ and it’s true.”

He continued: “You can call me a coward … for not taking that leap but, like, that s—t terrifies me.”

However, he revealed to Us Weekly about the way he felt about the reunion. “I think that the reunion kind of took us, like, a little bit of shock,” he recalled. “I didn’t really know how to handle it. I don’t know if I handled it in the best way.”

He continued: “I was so concerned going into reunion. The only thing that I wanted to come out on the other side with is, you know, [Olivia] and I being in a great place and I think that she was kind of taken aback at like how, you know, Madison and I were kind of bantering and she was like, ‘What is happening?’ You know?”
