Did Sam Asghari cheat on Britney Spears? Maybe, we probably will never find out. What we do know is that in 2017, Femme X MB designer Morgan Osman claimed she was in a relationship with Asghari just weeks after he and Britney started dating.

She posted, and then deleted, an Instagram of her kissing him (you can see a screenshot here) and later claimed on the notorious, now defunct gossip website The Dirty that “I have video and images of our REAL relationship. Britney he is using you. I don’t know why everyone is attacking me, Sam Asghari is the cheater. I feel sorry for Britney Spears, she seems like a good person.”

The claims were then posted by a fan on Twitter, who wrote: “Remember when Sam Asghari cheated on Britney Spears with Morgan Osman? The good sis even came with picture/video receipts. We know who the cheater is despite what he tells TMZ.”

One replied to the tweet chain: I suspect he cheated in Vegas and we were right about the night according to @britneyspears,” while another wrote: “The sad part is people already believe that Britney cheated. Yet here is proof that he cheated on her not the other way around. 🙄”

On August 17, 2023, Asghari issued a statement to his Instagram stories—which expire after 24 hours—regarding their breakup. “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. Shit happens. Asking for privacy seems rediculous [sic] so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

Did Britney Spears cheat on Sam Asghari? Indeed, that was the word on the street when news of their breakup hit TMZ on August 16, 2023. The couple “separated after a nuclear argument that involves allegations of cheating,” the tabloid reported.

“Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ about a week ago, Sam confronted Britney over rumors she stepped out on him. We do not know if the rumor has any basis in fact, but we’re told Sam believed it and the two had a huge fight,” TMZ continued: “Our sources say Sam has moved out of their house and is now living in a place of his own. As one source put it, “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”

In May 2023, TMZ reported their relationship was “in trouble” before a film documenting her life post-conservatorship titled TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom. “Our sources say Sam doesn’t stay at their home much anymore and it’s especially alarming because of how she has come to rely on him,” the site reported.

In 2022, The Mirror UK reported that Spears experienced jealousy when her ex, Justin Timberlake, was snapped alongside All Saints star Nicole Appleton following their publicized break-up. Things got uglier when Timberlake released the music video for “Cry Me A River” which featured him getting revenge on a woman who’d been unfaithful to him, and she was similar in appearance to Spears. Hollywood make-up artist Julianne Kaye said: “She was very, very, very upset [about the video]. Very hurt.”

“I think the way he handled it was wrong because she was very hurt by that. It was his way of telling the world his side of the story, which isn’t fair because there’s two sides to every story.” And speaking of Spears’ jealousy towards Appleton, Kaye continued: “I knew they had some issues. She had her questions about who he was with because stuff would be out in the press. They were very famous. So he’d be out with some girl from All Saints and she’d get very jealous, you know what I’m saying?”

TMZ reported in June 2022 that Britney and Sam signed a prenup stating that Sam wouldn’t receive any money Britney made before their wedding date if they divorced in the future.

Sam confirmed in an Instagram Story in September 2021 that he and Britney had plans to sign an “iron-clad prenup” after their engagement that month. His post came after thousands of fans, including actress Octavia Spencer, told Britney to sign a prenup before she married Sam. “Make him sign a prenup,” Octavia commented at the time on Britney’s engagement post.

In response to the comments, Sam took to his Instagram to joke about how he and Britney planned to sign a prenup to “protect his jeep and shoe collection.” He wrote, “Thank you everyone who is concerned about The Prenup! Of course, we’re getting [an] iron-clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day.” He accompanied his post with two laughing emojis.
