No one does coquette earrings better than Sandy Liang. The New York designer is quickly gaining popularity among cool girls and coquette lovers, with Olivia Rodrigo, Laufey, and Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner spotted wearing the brand. Sandy Liang is known for schoolgirl silhouettes and nostalgic accessories—like Sailor Moon-esque star jewelry, girly chokers, and of course, bow earrings.

Unsurprisingly, Gen Z has taken a liking to Sandy Liang’s downtown girl aesthetic. And if you’ve spent time on coquette-core TikTok recently, you’ve likely seen everyone swooning over the brand’s cutesy yet chic pieces.

The only problem? Sandy Liang jewelry is expensive. Like most people, after watching a few hauls on TikTok, I was convinced I needed all the pieces for myself. To my surprise, the bow hoop earrings I fell in love with came with an almost-$200 price tag. It was the same for the rest of the jewelry I saw—$148 for strawberry drop earrings and $128 for a bow ring. And if you’re like me, you might be reluctant to spend that much on a pair of earrings or a ring—no matter how cute they are.

Thankfully, my hours of doomscrolling on TikTok and Sandy Liang’s website have paid off. As I’ve become hopelessly obsessed with Sandy Liang’s bow jewelry and heart-shaped accessories, I’ve found a few ways to get the coquette look for less.

There are tons of Sandy Liang dupes at Target—including cute bow earrings under $10. So you can live out your coquette main character in a Sofia Coppola film fantasy without breaking the bank.
