Scott Disick hasn’t shared any reaction to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s baby, but he did share a sweet pic of his and Kourtney’s son Reign, who is the youngest of the three they share. The 8-year-old posed on the edge of the sofa with his arms crossed, dad writing alongside the image: “Str8 out of comp.”
The post comes after Kourtney and Travis welcomed their first child together – a son named Rocky – the week leading up to Saturday, November 5, 2023, according to multiple outlets. TMZ first reported that “This past Monday, we began receiving tips Kourtney showed up at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. On the one hand, lots of people know the Kardashians typically give birth at that hospital, so it’s not automatically a lock the tips are accurate,” the tabloid reported.
“But then, we’ve been in touch with various people in the Kardashian orbit, and they have been unusually sketchy on the subject. The only clear fact we confirmed is that her due date was this week. One source said labor would be induced.”
The Poosh founder revealed her pregnancy in June 2023. After news of Travis’ emergency broke, a pregnant Kourtney and Travis were spotted leaving a hospital in Los Angeles. A source told People that Kourtney is “back home now with her kids,” adding: “She is feeling better. She is happy to have Travis back home too.” Travis was also seen in his son Landon’s TikTok where he gives his son a hoodie.
A source at the time told Us Weekly that Scott was being very supportive of his ex and her new husband. “Scott knows this is what Kourtney has wanted for a long time and as bittersweet as it was, he reached out to congratulate her and Travis,” the source said.
Another source told Entertainment Tonight that he’s also thinking about his own well-being and processing the whole situation. “Scott is being as supportive as possible while also trying to take care of himself,” the source said. “It stings a little and he will always have love for Kourtney, but at the same time he is also happy and excited for her. He wants to continue to move on and focus on his own personal life.” Another insider told ET that Kourtney’s ex “is trying his best to stay positive and be happy for Kourtney, but he feels bad about the situation too”.
They continued: “He always knew Kourtney would get pregnant and move forward with her life with Travis, but he just didn’t know it would feel like this when it finally did. His friends can tell he is hurt. Scott isn’t dating anyone seriously.”
For his own part, Scott talked about how he places himself among the KarJenners in the latest season of The Kardashians. “Now that Kourtney has her life with Travis, as hard as it is, it does give me a place to finally be able to move on,” he said in a confessional. “I’d rather be around [Kourtney and Travis] and be around my family than not at all. It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically but now it has become a huge adjustment losing her as sort of a best friend. Now we are really more co-parents. I would say it is probably one of the more difficult things in my life.”
