The series follows nine mom influencers who are involved in #MomTok— a band of Mormon wives who have taken TikTok by storm with their lifestyles. By the end of Season 1, one essential Mom made a dramatic exit from the group. Whitney Leavitt was alienated from the group and later blocked the group to focus on her family.

Now, the group is trying to focus on intrapersonal relationships in the second season. “Something I think we lacked after the fallout was just good communication skills,” Miranda McWhorter told People. “Obviously, it’s hard when there was a lot of hurt there. But I think we’ve always had a little bit of a soft spot for each other.”
