You’ll Be Surprised at Which Single’s Inferno Couples Are Still Together…

Song Ji-a & Kim Hyun-Joong

Season: 1
Status: Broken Up

The stunning visual of season 1 Song Ji-A left with her “puppy” Kim Hyun-Joong at the end of season 1. However, the two split shortly after. Song Ji-a was criticized by fans for wearing fake designer clothes, and fans spotted that Hyun-joong unfollowed Ji-a on Instagram.

Hyun-joong cleared up that the two remain amicable towards each other. “There had been a lot of attention [on us] and Ji A also wasn’t following me,” he told Maeil Business Newspaper via Koreaboo. “I didn’t want unnecessary rumors to start circulating so that’s why I decided to unfollow her too. There were no other reasons. Honestly, I had no idea that there was a controversy at the time.

He continued, “Because of the ongoing situation, I had an even harder time reaching out to her. Even right now, in this moment as I talk about it, it’s really hard. However, what I can say is that the Ji-a I got to know is a kind and bright friend who works extremely hard.”

Kang So-yeon & Oh Jin-taek

Status: Broken Up

Kang So-yeon and Oh Jin-taek looked like one of the most promising couples of Single’s Inferno season 1. However, things shortly ended after they left the island. Jin-taek is currently in a relationship with PR Agent Lily Baek.

Kim Jun-sik & An Yea-won

Season: 1
Status: Broken Up

Kim Jun-sik and An Yea-won left the island hand in hand at the end of Single’s Inferno season 1. However, it all ended pretty quickly for them. They went on together on Cha Hyun Seung TV to talk about their experiences on the show and confirmed that they were just friends.

Moon Se-hoon & Shin Je-yoon

Season: 1

Status: Broken up

Though they left the Island together at the end of season 1, Moon Se-hoon and Shin Je-yoon are just friends. Je-yoon invited Se-hoon to her vlog and they clarified that she’s still single.

Kim Se-Jun and Lee So-e

Season: 2

Status: Broken Up

Kim Se-Jun and Lee So-e left together after appearing on season 2 of Single’s Inferno. After the show, Se-jun called Lee So-e his “dongsaeng” which means little sister in Korean. So, the two didn’t work out but still are great friends leaving cute Instagram comments on each other’s profile.

Jo Yoong-jae & Choi Seo-eun

Season: 2
Status: Split

Jo Yoong-jae and Choi Seo-eun are still dating after season 2 of Single’s Inferno. stockbroker Yoong-jae and artist Seo-eun instantly picked each other. When it came to the finale, Han-bin chose Seo-eun but she ultimately chose Yoong-jae. In an Instagram live, they were asked if they were going to get married and Yoong-jae responded, “I hope so.” 

However, the two have taken down photos of each other on their Instagram, leading fans to believe that they broke up.

Lee Gwan-hee and Choi Hye-seon

Season: 3
Status: Broken up

Gwan-hee posted an YouTube update after his appearance on Single’s Inferno. “First of all, I want to tell you that we are not a couple,” he went on to say. They broke up because he needed someone who was more active in his daily life, and since Hye-soon was in school, it couldn’t work out.

Choi Min-woo and Yu Si-eun

Season: 3
Status: Broken up

The two haven’t confirmed their breakup. However, it seems like the two are still really close on their Instagrams.

Park Min-kyu and Kim Gyu-ri

Season: 3
Status: Unknown

It’s not known whether or not Gyu-ri and Min-kyu are still together as they haven’t posted pictures of each other on their Instagrams other than the cast photo. They also do not follow each other’s Instagram accounts.

Gyu-ri picked Min-kyu after believing he was a steady man.  “I’ll get you plenty of blueberry pies once we’re out,” Min-kyu told her as they were leaving together. Gyu-ri asked, “How many?” Min-kyu said, “As many as you want. Until you can’t eat anymore.” 

Lee Jin-seok & An Min-young

Season: 3
Status: Broken up

Lee Jin-seok and An Min-young broke up after they appeared in Single’s Inferno.

During the final moments of the last episode, Min-young said, “This is nerve-wracking. Oppa, thank you for taking such good care of me here. This wouldn’t have been an actual inferno if I didn’t have you for the ride” adding that she wishes him to bake her bread in his bakery.

Yuk Jun-seo & Lee Si-an

Season: 4
Status: Not Together

Jun-seo posted a picture on Instagram of the two embracing each other. “Like everyone else, I spent every day sincerely, he wrote in a letter. “I don’t know how many more moments I will have in life where I can show my sincere heart. I was happy that we could cry together! Thank you!!”

Si-an also remembered the great memories on Inferno and confirmed their relationship by posting pictures of her and Jun-seo on Instagram. “Last summer was like a midsummer night’s dream.
Thankful for such great memories and great connections. Memories made by crying and laughing by all the members. Even after half a year, we are still talking and making more memories.”😁

However, the two didn’t last. When asked if they were still together on the variety show The Manager, Jun-seo replied “no,” but has stated that they’re “good friends now”

Kim Tae-hwan & Bae Ji-yeon 

Season: 4
Status: Not Together

Tae-hwan and Ji-yeon haven’t commented on whether they’re still together or not. When FastPaper pointed out that Single’s Inferno host Dex had a liking towards her during the show and if she had anything to say to him, she responded, “Thank you for liking me. I’m waiting here.”

Kim A-rin & Kook Dong-ho

Season: 4
Status: Unknown (Likely together)

A-rin and Dong-ho haven’t disclosed whether they’re still together or not, but it might seem like they’re close. Dong-ho posted on his Instagram, “Although It was awkward at first in an unfamiliar environment,
with the help of precious people I’ve met through a program called Singles inferno, I’ve made unforgettable memories. It was such a precious memory for a short time.”

A-rin posted that it was a big learning experience for her on her Instagram. “To me, Single’s Inferno 4 was like a mirror. When I’m in love, my feelings appear so clearly. (in the blink of an eye… I think I felt the 😇) In the process, I discovered that my speech and expressions might differ from my intentions…. I did a lot of reflection! Even though I didn’t like to see myself in that way, there were many scenes that I wanted to remember. It helped me a lot because there are people who cutely look at me. I am so so thankful! I will try to be a better person in the future!!

She continued, “Including Dongho Oppa, all of my Unnies and Oppas, and the production crew who worked hard! Thanks to all of you, I was able to make hot summer in memories in the darkest part of my timeline.”

An Jong-hoon & Kim Hye-jin

Season: 4
Status: Not Together

Jong-hoon and Hye-jin haven’t directly confirmed that they’re still together. However, Jong-hoon posted a year-end 2025 recap saying, “I appeared in a program called Single’s Inferno and I got to do it a little bit. There are some unfortunate points, but looking back, it seems like it was a good experience.”

Kim Min-gee & Song Seung-il

Season: 5
Status: Not together

Min-gee had her eyes set on Seung-il from the start and never let go of her hope of leaving Inferno with him. During that one scene during Truth or Drink, she even pulled him by the hoodie in the viral moment where she whispers in his ear, “It’s you.” Even after she blindsided him by going to paradise with Su-been, she chose Seung-il until the very end.

“As you know, I’m competitive, so I like winning and being number one. Which is why I like you Seung-il,” Min-gee said, with a sly pun joke referring to his name (il is one in Korean).

Min-gee and Seung-il revealed in the Single’s Inferno reunion that they didn’t date after the show. Min-gee said that the person who she fell in love with in Inferno was still stuck there.

Kim Jae-jin & Lee Joo-young

Season: 5
Status: Likely together

Kim Jae-jin and Lee Joo-young’s connection was a bit of a slow burn, but they let their silly selves loose while leaving Inferno together. While Hyun-jae was vying for her heart as the only person he was attracted to on the show, she ultimately chose Joo-young.

“Jae-jin I really enjoyed my time in Inferno with you,” Joo-young said. “Being around you felt natural and easy, like I could be myself. And it honestly made my heart skip a beat more than once. Let’s get ice cream together, shall we?” The two laughed together after she called him a stray cat.

Jae-jin and Joo-young revealed that they were still seeing each other in the time after appearing on the show. The dancer revealed he’s “serious in his desire” to know her better and “developed feelings for her” that he wants to “get to know her more.”

Park Hee-sun & Lim Su-been

Season: 5
Status: Still together

Park Hee-sun and Lim Su-been had a long journey in both Inferno and Paradise, but it seems like Su-been’s feelings were really cemented in scenes that weren’t shown throughout the season. “She’s more determined than I thought, so I think I fell for that unexpected charm,” Su-been said in a confessional. “If she doesn’t choose me, I’ll throw myself in the ocean.”

Hee-sun did confess that she does hold grudges, but ultimately chooses him to leave Inferno with. “I think this is the first time in my life that I’ve expressed feelings to someone,” she said I’ve never been this open. Thanks for bringing this out in me. To me, Inferno felt like Paradise.”

After the show aired, eagle-eyed fans on Reddit noticed that the two watched the Single’s Inferno Season 5 finale together from Su-been’s friend’s Instagram stories. During the reunion, the two happily revealed that they’re still together, noting that they began to “rely on each other more and more.”

Choi Mina-sue & Lee Sung-hun

Season: 5
Status: Not together

Lee Sung-hun, aka Samuel Lee, had been smitten with Choi Mina-sue since the very beginning. He didn’t lose out on hope even though there were instances where he admitted she friend-zoned him, but in the end, he was the only person who could truly understand and comfort her.

“I think out of all the people here, you brought the version of myself that I liked the most,” Mina-sue confessed. “I can’t imagine leaving this place without Sam.”

Shortly before Season 5’s finale, Sung-hun reactivated his Instagram after deleting it for a month, and he doesn’t follow anyone. Likewise, Mina-sue doesn’t follow Sung-hun on her social accounts. Though she did post a couple of videos of her traveling in New York City, where Sung-hun currently lives as a quant trader.

The two revealed that they didn’t date when they left Inferno together.

Kim Go-eun & Woo Sung-min

Season: 5
Status: Not together

Kim Go-eun caught the panelists (and us) by surprise when she chose Woo Sung-min over Jo I-geon. She had a great time at Paradise with the latter, but she ultimately chose Sung-min because she felt way more comfortable with him.  “He took care of me in these subtle ways… He always found little ways to show how he felt about me,” she says.

During the reunion, the two revealed that they didn’t connect after they left the show.
