Who’s Still Together From Single’s Inferno Season 5? This Unexpected Couple Just Watched the Finale Together

Min-gee & Seung-il

Min-gee had her eyes set on Seung-il from the start and never let go of her hope of leaving Inferno with him. During that one scene during Truth or Drink, she even pulled him by the hoodie in the viral moment where she whispers in his ear, “It’s you.” Even after she blindsided him by going to paradise with Su-been, she chose Seung-il until the very end.

“As you know, I’m competitive, so I like winning and being number one. Which is why I like you Seung-il,” Min-gee said, with a sly pun joke referring to his name (il is one in Korean).

It’s not known whether the two are still together since they don’t follow each other on Instagram.

Mina-sue & Sung-hun

Lee Sung-hun, aka Samuel Lee, had been smitten with Choi Mina-sue since the very beginning. He didn’t lose out on hope even though there were instances where he admitted she friend-zoned him, but in the end, he was the only person who could truly understand and comfort her.

“I think out of all the people here, you brought the version of myself that I liked the most,” Mina-sue confessed. “I can’t imagine leaving this place without Sam.”

Sung-hun just reactivated his Instagram after deleting it for a month, and he doesn’t follow anyone. Likewise, Mina-sue doesn’t follow Sung-hun on her social accounts. Though, she did post a couple of videos of her traveling in New York City, where Sung-hun currently lives as a quant trader.

Go-eun & Sung-min

Kim Go-eun caught the panelists (and us) by surprise when she chose Woo Sung-min over Jo I-geon. She had a great time at Paradise with the latter, but she ultimately chose Sung-min because she felt way more comfortable with him.  “He took care of me in these subtle ways… He always found little ways to show how he felt about me,” she says.

Like every couple, the two don’t follow each other on Instagram.

Joo-young & Jae-jin

Kim Jae-jin and Lee Joo-young’s connection was a bit of a slow burn, but they let their silly selves loose while leaving Inferno together. While Hyun-jae was vying for her heart as the only person he was attracted to on the show, she ultimately chose Joo-young.

“Jae-jin I really enjoyed my time in Inferno with you,” Joo-young said. “Being around you felt natural and easy, like I could be myself. And it honestly made my heart skip a beat more than once. Let’s get ice cream together, shall we?” The two laughed together after she called him a stray cat.

The two don’t follow each other on Instagram, so it’s unknown what their fates are currently.

Hee-sun & Su-been

Status: Unknown (Likely together)

Hee-sun and Su-been had a long journey in both Inferno and Paradise, but it seems like Su-been’s feelings were really cemented in scenes that weren’t shown throughout the season. “She’s more determined than I thought, so I think I fell for that unexpected charm,” Su-been said in a confessional. “If she doesn’t choose me, I’ll throw myself in the ocean.”

Hee-sun did confess that she does hold grudges, but ultimately chooses him to leave Inferno with. “I think this is the first time in my life that I’ve expressed feelings to someone,” she said I’ve never been this open. Thanks for bringing this out in me. To me, Inferno felt like Paradise.”

While the two don’t follow each other on Instagram, since Su-been doesn’t have an Instagram, eagle-eyed fans on Reddit noticed that the two watched the Single’s Inferno Season 5 finale together from Su-been’s friend’s Instagram stories.
