Trista Sutter

Where you know her from: The Bachelorette Season 1

The original Bachelorette, Sutter appeared on the first season of the show way back in 2003 and married Ryan Sutter the same year. The couple celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on December 6th.

In May, Ryan Sutter sparked speculation with a cryptic post about his wife that made people believe the two were having issues. But apparently, it was just that he missed his wife, who was away filming Special Forces Season 3.

“Was it a divorce/nervous breakdown/mid-life crisis/death/trial separation back in May?! Not unless that’s what you call Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, season 3! 😜,” Trista recently wrote on Instagram alongside a trailer for the third season of the show.

Denise Richards

Where you know her from: Starship Troopers, Wild Things, and the James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough.

“I’ve been in situations where I freeze,” Richards admits in the teaser trailer for the season. But the actress, who has recently done more one-off appearances and reality TV outside of her role as Shauna Fulton in The Bold and the Beautiful seems ready for a challenge. And this is quite a challenge.

Stephen Baldwin

Where you know him from: being the youngest Baldwin brother and Hailey Bieber‘s father and appearing in a long list of 90s movies.

Baldwin has had a long career as an actor, producer, director, and activist, appearing in a lot of movies, particularly in the 1990s. But he’s also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother 7, and Celebrity Apprentice, so he’s no stranger to reality TV. This is just not that but taken to another level.

Nathan Adrian

Where you know him from: being a five-time Olympic gold medalist 

Being a high-performing athlete might give Adrian an edge in the competition, particularly if we consider he at one point held the American record in the long course 50-meter freestyle event. But it’s very different to swim in controlled conditions in the pool, so this is still a challenge for Adrian.

Alana Blanchard

Where you know her from: being a professional surfer

Blanchard’s comfort with the water might come in handy, though surfing is likely very different than the challenges she’ll be forced to face in this competition. Still, Blanchard is an athlete with training and stamina, which should come in handy for a competition of this type.

Landon Donovan

Where you know him from: being a former professional soccer player and coach

Donovan retired in 2018, so he’s not in his top shape all these years later. But he’s continued to be involved in the world of sport, and he was for years one of the most celebrated US soccer players. So you’d think he at least has the right mentality for the challenge ahead.

Carey Hart

Where you know him from: being a former motocross champion and Pink’s husband

Hart is known for being the first motorcyclist to attempt a backflip on a 250cc motorcycle during a competition, a skill that doesn’t seem like it will exactly translate to this competition.  “I hope that this course will allow me to be the old Cary,” he says in the teaser, either a really good sign or a really bad one.

Ali Manno [Fedotowsky]

Where you know her from: being a former Bachelorette

The former Bachelorette, whose love story on the show didn’t end as well as Sutter’s, nonetheless has become a social media personality since her appearance on the show. Now, she’s ready to take on a very different challenge.

Cam Newton

Where you know him from: being a former NFL QB

Cam Newton is another one of the athletes who could do well in this competition, and he seems to believe so himself. “There’s a famous quote that says, ‘In order to get something that you’ve never had, you’ve got to do something that you’ve never done,'” he even says in the teaser.

Kayla Nicole

Where you know her from: being an influencer and Travis Kelce‘s ex

If there’s one thing Kayla Nicole is probably tired of it’s being known just as someone’s ex. The influencer is likely looking forward to this opportunity to let people know the real her, and prove how tough she can be at the same time.

Kyla Pratt

Where you know her from: being the voice of Penny Proud in the Disney Channel animated series The Proud Family

From acting to challenges made for the special forces? Doesn’t seem like it makes that much sense, but Pratt chose to be here and that means a lot.

Christy Carlson Romano

Where you know her from: playing Ren Stevens on Even Stevens and voicing the titular character in Kim Possible

Again, acting doesn’t really seem like it’ll translate well to Special Forces, but these competitors are not coming into this unawares so we won’t actually be surprised if they end up surprising us.

Golden Tate

Where you know him from: being an NFL wide receiver

Tate won a Super Bowl, so he knows how to work in a team, and he is an athlete who understands high-performance expectations. But he has been away from the game for a while, and these challenges are no joke.

Jordyn Wieber

Where you know her from: being an Olympic gold medalist

Wieber has been a high-level athlete and now coaches high-level athletes but a lot of people still have absolutely no respect for gymnastics as a sport, even on the face of Simone Biles. Might just be time for someone like Wieber to prove how tough gymnasts can be.

Marion Jones

Where you know her from: being a former world champion track-and-field athlete and former professional basketball player

If athleticism is going to be an important part of the competition, Jones probably has an edge. But like with many of the other high-performing athletes in this competition, this is likely nothing like they’re used to.

Brody Jenner

Where you know him from: Being part of the Kardashian-Jenner family

This feels a little out of Brody Jenner’s wheelhouse, but if there’s one thing we will say about his family is that they will try anything. And reality TV is kinda in his blood. This will just be a little harder than he’s used to, that’s for sure.
