Yes, Stray Kids are going to the 2024 Met Gala. In a live stream days before the event, Seungmin revealed that the group are preparing to attend the event on the First Monday in May. Hours before they step on the red carpet, Felix confirmed that they would be going as guests of Tommy Hilfiger in an Instagram story. They are the first K-Pop group to attend the Met Gala, and the first band as a whole to attend the event together.
In April 2024, the band became Asia Ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger. “We’ve been fans of Tommy Hilfiger since we were kids and we’re thrilled to continue this partnership,” the group said in a statement. “We approached this shoot just like band-life, with everyone bringing their unique personality and then merging it with Tommy’s Classic American Cool style.”
