Can the couples resist the temptation? Temptation Island just switched homes to Netflix and for a show with the premise of seeing if established couples could withstand sleeping and being intimate with other people, it’s no surprise that a lot of these couples didn’t make it past the finale. Yet, some couples actually do and many proposed too!
Temptation Island, hosted by Mark L. Walberg, is a reality show that originally aired on Fox and was later revived on USA Network. Netflix’s newest iteration is technically its ninth season, and features four couples: Ashley and Grant, who have been dating for 1.5 years, Alexa and Lino, who have been dating for 3.5 years, Brion and Shante, who have been dating for 1 year and Tayler and Tyler, who have been dating for 2.5 years.

Each season brings couples to a secluded island to “test their love.” How? Easy, by placing the men and women in separate villas filled with eligible singles and having them go on dates with said singles. It’s a complicated situation for each couple but we broke it down for you below.
The only couple that has lived past the former iterations of Temptation Island are Kristen and Julian. Time will tell if the season 6 couples will make it to their destined futures.

Kristen Ramos and Julian Allen got married in 2022 after they left the island together in Season 3. Julian popped the question right during the finale, and even their castmates attended their special day. The two are still going strong to this day and they co-own a personal training gym in New Jersey.

By the time the final dates come, Lino uses his time with his final date to get advice on how to propose—after making sure he calls Alexa’s dad to ask for his blessing. At the final bonfire, the two profess their love for each other and go over any lingering questions before confirming to Mark they want to leave the island together, not that anyone had any doubts. And yes, Lino does pop the question right then and there. Trust the man to use the spotlight when he has it. He gets down on one knee and proposes to Alexa to end the show on a good note after so much drama. She says yes, of course as they both turn to the camera and say “Thank you, Temptation Island.” Ironic, we know. They’ve given no update after the engagement, but all signs point to the couple still going strong. Trust us and Instagram!

After a whole scandal that involved a threesome, Brion apologized at the final bonfire, but Shanté seemed to be struggling with whether she could forgive him. But when she walked back to talk to Mark and Brion, to the shock of everyone, including Brion, she finally agreed to give him another chance and walk off the island with him. All seems to indicate the two are still together to this day, with Brion promising to work to rebuild that trust. Hopefully, that’s exactly what happened.

Ashley still has pictures of her relationship with Grant, while the business owner cleared out pictures of his girlfriend. The two left the island with Ashley calling Grant a serial cheater, but who knows if they reunited after appearing on the show.
