Another season, another cast of celebrities taking up the mask. The Masked Singer cast for season 11 is packed with all-new surprises. You’ll never know what happens in each episode!
The Masked Singer—also abbreviated as TMS—is Fox’s reality TV singing competition series, in which celebrities compete against each other in performances while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks to conceal their identities. Throughout the season, a panel of judges guess the celebrities’ identities based on their voices and clues provided before and after each performance. Each week, the contestant with the least amount of votes from the studio audience is eliminated and takes off their masks to reveal their identities.
This season includes all-new themed episodes, including “The Wizard of Oz,” in celebration of the 85th anniversary of the classic film, “TRANSFORMERS,” as the iconic brand celebrates its 40th anniversary, and special musical anthology episodes including “Billy Joel Night” and “Queen Night.” Additional themes include “Girl Groups,” “Soundtrack of my Life,” “TV Theme Night,” and “Shower Anthems.” Maybe the themes will also hint at who’s under the mask….who knows?
As for hints, The Masked Singer season 11 cast has a combined 22 Grammy nominations, 11 platinum albums, 33 Teen Choice nominations, 108 million records sold, 1.7 billion Spotify streams, and 326 film appearances. That’s a lot of accomplishments!
This season marks the first time of a change of panelists. Singer Rita Ora joins the band of classic panelists in the Fox show as Nicole Scherzinger takes on the West End in a revival of Sunset Boulevard. “She knew the gameplay, she knew how it worked, she knew how to be a judge,” Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg told Gold Derby about her new co-judge. “So that wasn’t that difficult for her. And then she’s got the ear and the voice. She was a complete package. I don’t think there was anyone better that could have filled Nicole’s shoes than Rita.”

Who are The Masked Singer judges?

Rita Ora is sitting in for long-time The Masked Singer judge Nicole Scherzinger who is currently on the West End revival of Sunset Boulevard.
Ora, who has hosted and been a judge in the UK version of the show, told Entertainment Weekly about how she felt when she got the call. “Well, of course I was familiar by doing the U.K. show for about five seasons, and when they asked me to do this one, I was so excited. I just felt like a hundred percent [yes] because I already knew the show so well, and I just love it and I love the excitement of it. It’s just so crazy and it’s like a huge game show, and such a great family show. You can’t really go wrong. I mean, you may look crazy with the names you [guess], but who cares? Because the whole show is a bit bonkers anyway, so it doesn’t feel like work at all.

Who is The Masked Singer host?

Cannon initially wasn’t going to look for another variety show to host after America’s Got Talent. He told Variety, “I was really meticulous about what I would want to host again in the space of nonscripted variety since I had done it on the biggest level with ‘AGT.’ I didn’t want to jump in and host another talent show,”
