The Winner of the Timothée Chalamet Lookalike Contest Just Met the Real One—Meet the Contestants

Miles Mitchell won the Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest and the big reward of $50. The 21-year-old economics student from Staten Island dressed up as Willy Wonka and packed his suitcase filled with candy bars at Washington Square Park. As well as the Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest, Miles attended the Gojo lookalike contest (the character from anime/manga Jujutsu Kaisen) dress like Wonka to distribute Beast Bars to the audience.

The lookalike finally met the real deal when he attended a special screening of Timothée’s movie A Complete Unknown. The actor approached Miles and asked him “What place did you end up taking at the lookalike contest?” He along with some audience members said “first” and to Timothée’s bewilderment said “Oh shit!” The two took a photo together to cement the memory.

Anthony Po is the mastermind behind the Timothée Chalamet lookalike competition. As someone who was called a “less handsome Timothée Chalamet” for most of his life, he put up hundreds of flyers throughout New York City. After the event, he was fined $500 by the NYPD for “hosting an unauthorized costume contest/”

Zander Lueve

Alexander (Instagram: @zanderd) was in second place at the Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest. He dressed up as Paul Atriedes from Dune and we gotta admit that his impression is uncanny.

Reed Putnam

Reed Putnam was one of the Timothée Chalamet lookalikes. He told The Cut, “Some people seem to be taking this event really out of context. They think this is gonna be some giant meat market.

 Spencer DeLorenzo

Spencer DeLorenzo, a 22-year-old from Long Island, met Timothée Chalamet when he appeared at the lookalike contest.

Christian Conti

Comedian Christian Conti dressed up like Timothée Chalamet and showed up at the Timothée lookalike event at Metlife Stadium.
