However as Scandoval came to light, the two continued to live together, but it now seems like it’s going to be dissolved in the near future thanks to Madix suing Sandoval. “I want things a certain way when I think it’s the right time,” Ariana told People during a Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere event. “So I’m ready. I want to own my own home.”

“I’m just really motivated to be able to get my investment that I made into the house out so that I can make another investment and be able to fully just move on from being tied to that,” she said.

 Cheat Sheet reports that Sandoval only makes $15,000 per episode on Vanderpump Rules. But per The Hollywood Reporter’s report on the show in 2020, Sandoval likely makes around the $25,000 per episode range as a core cast member. In 2016, Sandoval sued because he felt he wasn’t being paid enough for the series. According to TMZ, the bartender only made $38,000 for the first two seasons before he was able to negotiate a $15,000 per episode salary for season 3, which is what he has now.

The gossip site also reported that his agent at the time Peter Young was supposed to receive a 10 percent cut from Sandoval’s earnings, but says he ended up receiving $1,300.

As for season 11, there were various talks about how salary rates will be according to Executive Producer Alex Baskin. “This is as hard as it’s ever been because typically, we have a rate card, a tenure card, we’ve used in prior seasons. There are all sorts of asks across the board,” he told The Los Angeles Times. He also revealed that most people in the cast got pay raises. “Their point is, rightfully, ‘You guys are touting the show’s success. Where is our piece of that?’ Those are tough conversations. I did think that everybody, with the exception of Rachel, who had to make a personal decision, wanted to come back. Everybody did better than what they had previously gotten.”

The exact restaurant earnings that Tom Sandoval has not been disclosed. The reality star owns two bars: TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy with co-star Tom Schwartz. However, according to the owner himself, the businesses are going well. “I got to say, every time I go in, it’s kind of thriving,” he said on Watch What Happens Live. “And people are coming in—you guys, if you want to talk about this, all day, I’m happy to talk about this. But it’s been great.”

Sandoval has been open about how his family has been involved in the making of his business. “We planned this friends and family party at Schwartz & Sandy’s like months ago, thinking that we would be open,” Sandoval explained in an interview, referencing the bar’s delayed opening. “I know the smart thing to do would be to save the money, use that towards getting open. But my mom, my stepdad, they invested a quarter of a million dollars into this business venture, I mean, into me. So we’re doing it.”

Sandoval and Schwartz disclosed that they were struggling a bit at first but their hard work paid off. “It’s looking a lot less like the cantina that was there. We’ve added a lot of wallpaper, we have the starry night up. We have our James Turrell installation on the way to the bathroom. At this point, we invested a million dollars into this project,” he said last season. “It’s like the national debt: It’s just numbers flying.”
