Who Are Tyler’s Kids From Love Is Blind? His Children’s Mother Sets the Record Straight

It wouldn’t be a season of Love Is Blind without drama. In season 7 of Netflix’s hit reality dating show, we got a bombshell of epic proportions: Tyler has three children, and while he maintains they’re the result of sperm donations, one TikToker alleges otherwise.

On October 7, 2024, shortly after the first batch of episodes dropped, TikToker Storytimewithrikkii shared a video alleging the reality star is the father of three kids “and he scrubbed them from his Instagram entirely when he found out he was gonna be on the show.” In a follow-up video published the next day, she claims he “was very active in all of his children’s lives up until a year ago when he decided to ditch them and pretend like they didn’t exist.”

The children’s mother, Bri Thomas, initially filed for custody in Baltimore City Circuit Court in October 2021, but Life&Style later reported that this custody case was reopened after filming on Love Is Blind season 7 wrapped.

Thomas explained her history with Tyler in a series of Instagram reels posted on October 19, a few days before the show’s finale, saying, “In regards to our oldest child, Kyreaux, Tyler was initially only supposed to be helping me and my ex-wife. He was helping us conceive,” she said, adding, “It was understood that Tyler was not supposed to assume a father role in Kyreaux’s life.”

However, Thomas claimed that after she and her ex-wife ended their relationship, Tyler took a more active role in his son’s life. “Tyler, as my best friend, was there for me, helping me through this extremely, extremely tough time in my life. And for that, I’ll always be thankful for him,” Thomas explained. “One day, I received a text from Tyler and he asked me if I would be OK with him being a father to Kyreaux because he did not want Kyreaux to be raised by a single mother, as he had. We had a deep discussion about what that would mean for him to be stepping up as a father to Kyreaux and what it would look like as far as financial responsibility, helping out, being an active parent in his life, being present,” she went on to explain in the video.

And as for the twins, she was categorical, “Kali and Kamari, are the results of natural, unplanned intercourse with absolutely no complexities surrounding parentage,” Thomas said.

She went on to add that, “I can’t wrap my head around why he felt the best way to do that would be to cut off the kids. Then, to make matters worse, lie on national television and say they’re merely sperm babies and they don’t know what he looks like, that all hurts. I understand. This is for everyone’s entertainment. But this is our real lives. And, you know, it sucks. It really sucks.”
