You have the ring, and a partner, and if you’re a 2025 bride, you hopefully already have a venue. But of course, no wedding day is complete without the perfect wedding dress. Whether you’re still in the market for the one or are searching for a second look, these wedding dress trends for 2025 will help you get inspired and hopefully make your decision easy.

Bridal Fashion Week took place in October in New York City, and the top bridal designers unveiled their 2025 fall/winter collections—which means an influx of new wedding dress trends. If you’ve already picked your dress, don’t fret! The best thing about bridal trends is that they have longevity and are rooted in classic styles—your engagement ring won’t be going out of style and neither will your dress.

Shopping for a wedding dress is so personal, and the 2025 wedding dress trends exist as mere guidance in your shopping journey. Silhouettes and details may ebb and flow through time but they don’t necessarily go out of style! Take the puff sleeve, for example. The puff sleeve was widely popular in the ’80s and now it is making a resurgence in both modern and vintage formats.

Other traditional details like a corsetted back, basque waist, or mantilla veil are also in the 2025 bridal trend spotlight. If you’re eager to incorporate multiple trends or looks into your wedding wardrobe, you’re not alone. I spoke to bridal stylist Lesley Brickman about what other brides are in the market for right now.

“Gone are the days of shopping for one element for the wedding,” Brickman says. “Brides today want a full bridal trousseau, not just a beautiful ceremony gown.”

Bridal wardrobes need looks for more than just the wedding day—with an engagement party, shower, bachelorette, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and reception (just to name a few) on the calendar, becoming a bride can mean building a whole new wardrobe.

“These pieces should all exist in the same universe, but be independently beautiful and unique, and also be true to the woman wearing them,” Brickman advises.

Designers are clearly catching on to the multi-dress trend and have brilliantly created gowns that can transform with the simple pull of a zipper. Lace overlays, removable skirts, and detachable sleeves were all common place during bridal fashion week.

There are so many directions you can take your bridal wardrobe and these seven different 2025 wedding dress trends will help you head the right way.
