Your horoscope for the week of April 13 to 19 says a positive shift is underway, because so many of the darkest parts of 2025 are now behind you. Open your heart the possibility that things can get better, because they will. If you needed a reason to celebrate, know that Venus retrograde and Mercury retrograde are both officially over, which means every planet is now free from retrograde motion. That’s right—no planets are retrograde, giving you clear to be free and set sail.

With that being said, some additional baggage may resurface as the week begins. On April 13, the moon will be in Scorpio, brewing up some uncomfortably intense emotions as it squares off with Pluto—planet of destruction—and Black Moon Lilith, bringing up hidden intentions and agendas.

Embrace the process, even if it hurts to digest the truth, because by April 15 the moon will form a healing Grand Water Trine with Venus, Mercury, Saturn, and the North Node in Pisces, as well as Mars in Cancer. This will bring up a lot of deep, repressed feelings to the surface, where it can all be purged from your spirit. You deserve to feel a lot lighter. However, these emotions may arise in some unexpected places as the moon also forms an opposition with Uranus, planet of sudden changes. There may be a war between what’s expected and what cannot be controlled or predicted.

You’ll feel much more energized after Mercury—planet of communication—enters Aries on April 16. This is the second time Mercury is entering Aries this year, as it retrograded back into Pisces on March 29. Now that Mercury is back in this feisty, competitive, and driven fire sign, you’ll have a lot more confidence in your plans and ideas, but you might also feel more impulsive and hot-headed. This transit kicks off with the moon in adventure-seeking Sagittarius as it forms a trine with dreamy Neptune and a sextile with transformative Pluto. Your cup runneth over with creativity and inspiration.

You have the opportunity for a full-blown artistic breakthrough by April 17. This is when Mercury joins forces with Neptune—planet of spirituality and otherworldly domains—at 0 degrees of Aries. To say this represents a new beginning is an understatement. However, Neptune is a planet of dissolution, illusion, and boundlessness, which means this has the potential to open your mind without weighing you down with the practical facts. Give yourself space to dream, knowing that you may need to make alterations later—after you’ve drifted back down to Earth. The moon will also be opposing expansive Jupiter in Gemini, making this a big day for brainstorming and stimulating communication. Just remember not to confuse yourself by forcing yourself to process too much information at once.

The creative intensity continues to surge, and another wave of internal momentum begins to crest on April 18. Mars—planet of power, passion, and conflict—will enter Leo after being in Cancer since January 6. This will be a major transition that gives you a confidence boost and pushes you to move forward. Not only does Mars hate being in Cancer, but Mars was also retrograde for the majority of that transit. You might feel a lot more motivated and excited for the future after Mars enters Leo, especially because it immediately forms a trine with Neptune in Aries. This is a beautiful time for embracing “delusional thinking” as a form of manifestation. There’s nothing wrong with believing you can achieve all that you want to achieve. In fact, it’s the only way you’ll ever achieve it.

The sun enters grounded, beautiful, stable, and luxurious Taurus on April 19.

Let’s face it—the first few months of 2025 were rough, to say the least. You dealt with Mars retrograde, Venus retrograde, Mercury retrograde, and eclipse season, all within a span of three and a half months. Pat yourself on the back, because if you can survive that, you can survive anything. That’s why it’s such a treat that the sun enters grounded, beautiful, stable, and luxurious Taurus on April 19, as this marks the beginning of a much more pleasure-focused chapter. You’ve done the hard work. Now, it’s time to reap the rewards.
