April 4: TMZ reports of a feud between Brooklyn & Romeo

When news first picked up about Brooklyn’s absence, many publications alleged that it had to do with Brooklyn and Romeo’s feud. According to TMZ, brothers Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham haven’t been on speaking terms since December 2024. Romeo is currently dating model Kim Turnbull, who Brooklyn reportedly dated in 2016. To fan the flames, Romeo posted a picture of the celebration with his girlfriend and family, and made a shady comment: “Family means everything…”

Brooklyn and Nicola also don’t think Kim has the “right intentions” in dating Romeo. However, Victoria and David completely approve of Kim and Romeo’s budding relationship. Sources told TMZ that Posh and Becks “trust” the model around their younger son.

A source told Page Six that the couple “never” go to family events anymore, and “in some ways, this is no surprise, but I guess no one could believe they would actually snub David’s 50th when there were so many events they could have gone to or ways to spend time with the family….Their behavior has been appalling.”

“David and Victoria always turn up for Brooklyn and Nicola,” the source continued, “whether it’s for the launch of his hot sauce brand or her movie premiere. This is just very sad.”

However, “Brooklyn’s family adores him and will always be there for him. They just can’t deal with this nonsense anymore,” the source said. “David and Victoria just want Brooklyn to remember who he is because this behavior isn’t him and isn’t how he was raised.”

A source revealed to E! News: “Nicola and Brooklyn were never confirmed to attend the Met,” the source said. “in hopes they could see David and celebrate his birthday with him that week, weekend instead.”

The source also alleges that the couple “have made themselves available for months and months to discuss all of the ongoing drama,” but that David and Victoria refuse to talk with her around “because she always talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn.”

Sources told the site that Nicola believes she’s always supported her hubby’s family by attending Victoria’s fashion shows and promoting her products on social media, but doesn’t get the same treatment.
