Months after Sean “Diddy” Combs’s arrest, a powerful celebrity was named in one of the hundreds of lawsuits against the music mogul. Jay-Z, real-name Shawn Carter, was accused of raping a 13-year-old in 2000.

Jay-Z and Diddy’s relationship dates back to the 90s when they were up and coming in the music industry. The Bad Boy Entertainment founder was arrested in late 2024 after numerous accusations of sexual assault, trafficking, and racketeering. On December 8, 2024, Jay-Z responded to claims that he raped a 13-year-old with Diddy after a lawsuit was refiled to include his name on it.
