These bag charms are called Labubu dolls, and they’re elf-like monsters inspired by Nordic mythology and created by artist Kasing Lung for a book series called The Monsters.
Labubu dolls aren’t just an accessory for your bag, though. They’re a craze not unlike Beanie Babies, and the obsession has many of us (myself included) desperate for a doll. Labubus are made by POP MART and sold in blind boxes, with the anticipation of not knowing what you’ll get only adding to the obsession. With so many wondering how to get a Labubu from POP MART, these furry little freaks are getting harder and harder to snag. Fortunately, POP MART isn’t the only place to find Labubus—you can also get lucky at stores like Walmart, Kicks Crew, and Stockx.
As with most internet obsessions, buying a Labubu online might seem like an impossible feat—but I promise it’s possible. To buy a Labubu online at POP MART, you’ll want to set yourself up for success by creating a POP MART account and logging in early for the next drop. POP MART also allows you to add items to your cart before they become available, so make sure to add what you want ahead of the drop. When the drop time approaches, refresh the page. While you can buy Labubus on the POP MART app, we recommend shopping on the browser because you can get penalized for refreshing the app too much.
It’s also worth opening an extra tab and going to the POP MART Amazon store to check for releases there.
